So trying to be funny for the write up today we googled 'SKII' thinking something would pop up about flying down the slopes of Whistler. Although surprised we were wrong, we were taken on an educational journey about Japanese yeast cosmetics and their introduction in the early 1980s. Very much like the necessity of yeast in our lives, so is this new record from SkiiTour! Two of the best dressed producers SkiiTour really nailed this one. Lose Our Heads has been the secret track on our USB for quite some time and its great to see it finally here for everyone else to enjoy. Melancholic arpeggiators and warm chords layer around absolutely amazing vocals. Thumping subs and electric synth lines keep this groove moving forward while bring those wow moments every step of the way. To take things into the next gear we have Wongo on the remix. With an energetic techno bass-line and enough train horns to scare off a flock of birds, Wongo goes what we call 'ape shit' on this remix taking all his peak time sounds and cramming them into one record at 132bpm. Like a good batch of Loreal Paris, SkiiTour have really caked on the foundation and written themselves a hit!
