Aluku Records 100th release that marks its 10th year anniversary as an independent running record label is here to welcome back the official 4th edition South African compilation. Paying homage over the years to what South African House/Electronic music has done not just for Aluku Records but also to the dance music scene especially over the last 5 years it was only right to present another SA compilation with this time a mixture of Gqom , Afro House/Tech and also a new emerging underground hybrid sound called '3 Step' and a Tribal style of Gqom 'Core Tribe' . Presenting on the Gqom side of things nothing but the finest artist with Distruction Boyz Que and Goldmax who had a soundtrack featured in the first marvel Black Panther movie (2018) . Dj Lag a mastro pioneer for the sound who also had a collaboration with Beyoncé alongside Moonchild which featured in the recent real life disney Lion King movie back in 2019 . Omagoqa a rising trio in the scene making waves internationally collaborating alongside Dee Traits a underground duo unearthing new hard hitting vibrations with a sub genre of the Gqom sound called 'Core Tribe' along with Novaboy's solo track in that same environment, Super talented ZVRI who teamed up with Que DJ and not forgetting local hero General C'Mamane a 2x Metro FM Award winner and 3x Sama Nominee over the years . Dlala Thukzin more known for Gqom over the years but in recent times he has been experimenting more with Afro,Tribal and Tech sounds infused with his style alongside another artist who is also known in the Gqom field Funky Qla that is also opening up his style with afro house music. DJ Vitoto and Mpho.Wav's with Step & Clap track is welcomed back again as it was originally planned to be featured in this compilation , Masuda teaming up with record label owner and founder Aluku Rebels to create a mixture of Afro, 3 Step and wonderful classical orchestra titled 'Aluku Tribute Song' all in to celebrate not just the label's influences by promoting artists musical creativity but also what Aluku Rebels has helped steer African Electronic music to where it stands today. Blanka Mazimela a name getting more noticed over the last couple of years with a fantastic range of various sounds teaming up with Caliber AfroFusion, BokkieUlt who is signed to Sony SA featuring alongside Amapiano talented vocalist Emjaykey with their 3 step style of vibe , Hypesoul a good friend and studio partner of Thakzin who has created this genre 3 Step featuring vocalist Leko M along with a collaboration along side up and coming DJ/Producer The Unknown in the same form and last but not least super talented Demented Soul taking you on his typical productive Afro tribal tech journey.
