Holding On / You Make Me Say

    Tjade , Kara Okay

    Beatport Staff Picks

Agrio Tracks boss Tjade returns to the label and brings along rising star Kara Okay for their first collaboration. Both enthusiasts of uplifting feel-good music, the Amsterdam producers merge their styles into a blend of house, prog, tech and everything in between. 'Holding On', tried and tested in Tjade's Boiler Room, combines happy, jumpy bassline stabs with crisp synth and vocal hooks, all leading towards a sentimental female lead vocal taking the track into a crescendo. 'You Make Me Say' builds off the same premise, but noticeably leans into a slower and more melancholic energy, with a combination of vocal samples and catchy leads taking front and centre. Both tracks mark a clear start of the Euro summer season and are expected to be heard on festival grounds left and right.

  • Kinesis / Get Up N Dance
BeatTracker #10 Top Releases in Trance (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic)

Kinesis / Get Up N Dance

    Jordan George

    Beatport Top Releases

Agrio Tracks welcomes Jordan George with a high-energy-house two-tracker built for peak times. 'Kinesis / Get Up N Dance' captures Jordan's signature blend of driving rhythms, euphoric synth work, and hard hitting drums. Jordan shares on the release: 'Agrio tracks feels like the perfect home for this release. With the Greek reference in the name Agrio and my own Greek background, it felt right to name one of the tracks 'Kinesis' - the Greek word for motion/movement, which perfectly reflects the momentum and flow running through the track. 'Kinesis' locks into a flow of rolling basslines and kinetic percussion, gradually unfolding with catchy vocal samples and sentimental chords, finally pushing the energy levels into ecstasy. On the flip side, 'Get Up N Dance' lives up to its name, a punchy and powerful cut packed with vibrant stabs, uplifting hooks, and a groove designed to ignite the dancefloor from the first drop. Roadtested in label boss Tjade's Boiler Room and already receiving strong support across the board from Benwal, Kyle Starkey, Paige Tomlinson, Sam Alfred, Bella Claxton, LAMMER, Entasia, Baron von Trax, Kara Okay and NewTone, 'Kinesis / Get Up N Dance' continues Agrio Tracks' mission of championing forward-thinking club music. 'There's been a lot of interest in both records over the last 18 months so I'm really excited to finally share them.'

  • Emergency / Acid Indigestion
BeatTracker #11 Top Releases in Trance (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic)

    Emergency / Acid Indigestion

    Dart

    Beatport Top Releases

Embracing his recognisable 90s hard house sound, DART joins the Agrio Tracks family with two big club anthems. Coming off the back of a massive summer collaboration with fellow Agrio artist Kyle Starkey, trailblazing this summers full revival of the genre, he now goes at it alone and guides us into a club season filled with potent house music. Emergency is a powerhouse with bouncy bass lines that pull you in and latch you on to the tracks ever building energy early on. Small stab samples set the rhythm on top, creating a tense build up for the inevitable payoff. Filtering slowing beneath it all is a symphonic monster; once you hear that main synth line break through its head down and hands in the air. The blaring alarms only confirm what youve come to realise already: its an emergency! Sticking to the theme of the release, Emergency is followed in suit by Acid Indigestion. Whereas the former might be operating past a certain level of bluntness for some, the latter exudes the same type of power while retaining some subtleness about it. As the title suggests, the track leans on multiple layers of acid lines all readily following the same patterns, steering you into an eyes-closed groove that will eventually lead you into rapture at the inescapable end of the break. Early support on both tracks comes from Job Jobse, Benwal, Pegassi, Ewan McVicar & Tjade.

    Yakamoz / Moonlight Dance

    Spacer Woman

    Beatport Top Releases

Named after a unique Turkish expression describing the shimmering of moonlight on the sea, Yakamoz tells the story of a playful tease. The stunning vocals of Spacer Woman and Champagne Soul are complemented by driving prog-bass and cheeky trance-like synth stabs. Both vocalists trade lines like lovers in a game of chase, their voices weaving through lush pads and pulsating rhythms. While undeniably made for the dance floor, the track showcases unconventional yet intriguing percussion like the darbouka. It takes the listener on an exploration of sound, merging the best of Turkish electronic music and contemporary prog-house. Big, euphoric synths crash against the groove, breaking the tension into pure dancef loor ecstasy. Yakamoz lingers in that fleeting moment between hesitation and surrender, leaving you wanting more. Bringing the stunning release home is Moonlight Dance, which upholds the theme of fusing Middle Eastern musicality with modern-day club elements and blends trance-infused bass lines, mesmerising rhythmical percussions such as darbouka and riq with enchanting flute melodies in a contemporary dance track. At its core, you will find a rolling bass line while on top the lead synth is accompanied by Arabian oud and bağlama to intrigue the listener (or clubber) with an intricate groove. Both songs showcase a beautiful collaboration between traditional elements and contemporary dance music in a captivating way. They remind us that music is not only about sound; its about identity, heritage, and courage.

  • Tryton / I Need U
BeatTracker #40 Top Releases in Trance (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic)

    Tryton / I Need U

    Kyle Starkey

    Beatport Top Releases

Agrio Tracks maiden release comes from everybody's favourite new producer Kyle Starkey. His tracks, blending signature 90's percussion with stabby rubber basslines, have been taking the house scene by storm recently. Being on high rotation in sets of artists like Job Jobse, THC and Jennifer Cardini has made it hard to have missed his tracks, even though you might not have known it at the time. Storming the gates is Tryton, leaning heavily on sharp lead stabs that will be stuck in your brain like a true ear worm from way back then, creating the perfect glue between the worlds of house, trance and prog. However, while it does have a strong hint of nostalgia, you can't help but notice a distinct touch of freshness lying on top of it. Whereas Tryton will please the peak time crowd, I Need U has the perfect filler features, while still making an impact on its own. The track subtlety balances old school vocal hooks and shouts with recognisable and simple synth melodies. If you are looking for the perfect assist to kickstart your night, this is it.

  • Yamaha Ibiza / Trentino
BeatTracker #57 Feat. Staff Picks in Trance (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic)

    Yamaha Ibiza / Trentino

    Match Box

    Beatport Staff Picks

Marking their upcoming release on Agrio Tracks, the duo presents a two-track project centered around energetic, vocal-driven club music with a strong 90s influence. Both tracks are built for the dancefloor, combining classic club elements with emotional depth and forward momentum. 'Yamaha Ibiza' grew from a drum and bassline idea that had been sitting in the studio for some time. Once pads and vocals were introduced, emo-leaning harmonies began to surface, giving the track its emotional edge. After the drop, a changing bassline adds extra movement and drive. The piano melody is taken from the iconic 'Yamaha Ibiza' preset on the Yamaha S30, one of their favorite hardware synths, also used to shape the bassline and pads throughout the track. 'Trentino' takes a different approach, starting from a simple piano chord loop and building the entire arrangement around it. The intention was to craft a trancey, uplifting track with clear hip-house influences, carried by a vocal that fully captures the track's euphoric and forward-pushing vibe. Blending nostalgic club aesthetics with modern production, this two-tracker delivers a focused and high-energy release, firmly rooted in emotional melodies, driving grooves, and vocal-led dancefloor energy.
