We are thrilled to present "Ice Giant / Starbound" by Nordic Echoes, a proper Trance release that pushes boundaries and captivates listeners with its raw, hypnotic melodies. Crafted by the talented duo Jens Jakob Madsen and Sander Toscano Pedersen, this forward-thinking release invites you on a mesmerising journey through pulsating rhythms and ethereal soundscapes. "Starbound", with its lush pads and atmospheric soundscapes, sets a heads-down vibe at a tempo of 145 BPM. Meanwhile, "Ice Giant" boasts a tempo of 142 BPM and features 303 "acid" sounds that progress throughout the track, offering a unique sonic experience that keeps listeners engaged from start to finish. As a label, we are delighted to showcase the innovative vision and unparalleled craftsmanship of Nordic Echoes with their debut release on JOOF.
Next up is Intuition, a contemporary techno/trance duo from the coast of Catalonia, Spain. This hard-hitting release features the iconic Arcana 17, a pure hard trance anthem that debuted at KI/KI's Amsterdam Boiler Room back in 2022, as well as Soulstealer, their take on a rolling, hypnotizing monster. Aeryeen (1/2 of the duo) is in charge of the B-side, taking a more emotional approach with dreamlike pads and ever-evolving arpeggios backed by psychedelic atmospheres.
'WAR1209' finds founder Ukrainian artist shjva inducing trance states across an album equal parts tripped-out and dubby. Spanning brooding lysergic visions and locked-in dance floor hypnosis, expect drowsily impressionistic soundscapes and darkly cinematic gear across the 9-track duration. Total sonic immersion for the oddballs and the freaks. Terraforming uncharted alien terrain, tracks like 'X-Side' and 'Upper Limit' descend into sprawling, widescreen exploration. Fathomless landscapes serving as vessels for deep introspection. 'Enigmatic', on the other hand, opts for detail and precision-tooled dynamics while retaining that same wide-eyed sense of wonder. Where 'Dragonfly' offers fractal fuel for ceremony and ritual, 'Cloudhopping' and 'Psy-Fi Alien Dub' wade knee-deep through some dub techno murk. Saving the direct and tunnelling for last, 'Banshee' and 'Chrysalis' are like two sides of the same proggy coin; one ominous, the other more optimistic and utopian.
The inspiring run of debutants on Watergate Records continues, as Ede & Deckert step up to the plate. The pair are a newly minted production partnership, having dropped a strong collaborative single 'Immer' on Running Back last September, featuring vocalist 'Sargland' that blurred the lines between indie dance and post punk. Outside of this, Deckert has dropped heat on Connected and Stil Vor Talent, and is one half of live electronic act Deorbiting, while the emerging Ede has credits on Innervisions and Correspondent to his name. When paired together, their work hits different. 'Hold This Down' is an exhilarating tune of the highest order, as a pacey nu-disco is paired with a sped up vocal hook to create a very fun, pop-leaning gem. Robert Johnson resident Maruwa takes the original to another level, upping the tempos and intensity for a slamming techno re-rub. 'Buri Buri' is a cutting-edge genre-hopper mixing up influences from European house and UK bass with inspiring freshness.
Embark on an epic sonic journey with 'Oblivion', the latest release from Pico Boulevard, featuring a mesmerising remix from Enlusion. The original version immerses listeners in a labyrinth of sound, where pulsating basslines intertwine with ethereal melodies, creating a hypnotic atmosphere that transcends time and space. Clocking in at over 10 minutes, this sonic odyssey takes you on a transcendent voyage, exploring the depths of consciousness with each pulsating beat and haunting chord progression. Enlusion's remix adds a new dimension to the journey, infusing the track with his signature blend of progressive elements and trance-inspired patterns. With meticulous attention to detail, label-boss crafts a sonic masterpiece that builds upon the foundation laid by Pico Boulevard, adding layers of complexity and intensity that propel the listener ever deeper into the abyss of sound.
Clint's first release of 2024 lands in the form of 4 mixes of title track Exosphere. The EP has echoes of an unearthed gem from the golden age of trance and progressive house music, primed, polished and ready for hot summer dance floors. The Main mix is a peak time, big-room slice of starry-eyed euphoria reminiscent of Van Dyke or Digweed in their pre-y2k era hey-days. The track is 9 minute meditation on euphoria: balearic motifs, dreamy pads and a plethora of blissful 90s elements lend the track a transcendent feel, think eyes closed, 2 doves deep. Long days and short nights are always just a short trip away. The Dance mix takes a more stripped back approach- the drums punch that little bit harder and the organs are in for the club-heads. Bright and glossy stabs dance around the groove while vocal chants tease in and out of the arrangement, and of course, the bass keeps pumping. The end result is a composite slice of club-ready modern prog music. The other mixes of the track forgo the dancefloor in favor of the more kaleidoscopic terrain of the chill out tent, reprising the exosphere theme for early morning ears. It's giving sandals, squishy brown and sun kissed hedonism. Golden teachers, patchouli oil and salty kisses. The Oceania version is a blissful slice of bright, punctual IDM with a 'global pop' feel evocative of Deep Forest or the more downtempo outings of Opus III, with the ambient mix chiming in on a similar celestial plain-lush, new age grooves for the afters at the beach or amongst the meadows, rounding out a fully realized vision of trance influenced euphoria from Clint. Tip!!
Formerly released as Insert Name, Stu McNally now reverts to his birth name for this and subsequent releases. We last encountered him on Pure Progressive back in 2016 with Karplus Motion, so this is a somewhat belated follow-up! This 124bpm minor-key growler is heads-down and serious deep and hypnotic trance music, the vibe is reminiscent of Gai Barone's heavier work, and this is no bad thing, featuring some very dark tones and evolving, heavily filtered layers. www.facebook.com/StuMcNallyMusic www.instagram.com/StuMcNallyMusic
Another opus from The Digital Blonde who is on fire right now. This time he joins forces with Idiosyncrasy for the mighty Telepathic Communication. The majestic Intro Mix is the mother of all Intro versions with a mammoth 3-minute opening to this < 11-minute deep, dark and fiery 136 bpm trance monster. Musically this has a brooding soundtrack vibe to it, with incessant, pointed bass which saves its keynote changes until the 8-minute mark, and what a release that proves to be when it eventually happens. The 135 bpm Club Mix does all of the above, but with a more mixable DJ friendly setup.
Ultimo Paradiso is proud to present on its Raw Catalogue the new single by Finnish artist WOLK. 'Strong Enough' is a fast paced track which incorporates trance atmosphere and dance elements, elevating the underground rave heat. From start to end the dancers immerse themselves in an energetic and dreamy feeling, experiencing an emotional peak, a moment of transcendent wonder.
A sweet trip through House, two killer cuts by Simon TG that show the deepest side of the genre. Next to them are two elegant remixes by Fontana and Cosmic G, giving a touch of Classic House and Trance. Distributed by Triplepoint - www.triplepointmusic.com
Macker (a.k.a. Chris MacDonald) returns to Pure Trance for the first time since 2021's Lost in Space with this exquisite +9-minute serving of 130 bpm deep, trance music. Arrakis has been a staple of Solarstone's DJ sets for over 12 months and never fails to lock in the dancefloor with its hypnotic loops and grooves, building tension & holding back its payload for a glorious post-break release. Scott Cameron follows up last year's 112 single with a charming 135 bpm remix of Arrakis that escalates the energy along with the BPM. With crisp percussion, twittering acid, a general upping of the ante and an engaging, non-generic arrangement Scott's remix really hits the spot.
When analogue techno meets acid trance with deep psychedelic flavor it brings an unique and universal vibe to the dancefoors and crowd we love to dance at and with. Victor nails here two massive acid tech trance tunes with irresistible breakbeats to tear the roofs of your consciousness and make your feet stomp, lost in a world of imagination and dreams.Axel Toben brings some modern analogue techno vibes remix to the table, with a current temporary hypnotic techno twist, speaking to our minds and souls with a talking breath of his analogue synths and drum machines.Sancho Meiso Chaya takes his remix more into atmospheric analogue land with amazing leads and ambient textures layered over an invisible pacing lysergic rhythm, crafted with passion and vision of his own Japanese style.w+p Victor Solsona aka Bioterraneanremixed by Axel Toben, Sancho Meiso Chayaartwork by Inga Burina Ingart StudioMastering by Cybered at Manifold Studio

Manual Smiles starts 2024 with the immersive breakbeats of Nickon Faiths Digital Moss EP, alongside a psychedelic remix by FROND. Acidic melodies swirl through mystifying soundscapes in Nickon Faiths Digital Moss EP on Manual Smiles, its racy drums and dream-like sonics weaving a story of ancient forests and imposing mountain reaches. The multi-genre Mancunian producer lands on n_os 303-heavy imprint following releases on labels like Troubleshoot Recordings while winning the support of notable acts like John Digweed and HAAi. Blue Spider Lily is the next chapter of the Digital Moss release. Fast-paced rhythms footing its rich melodies, each element working effortlessly together before FROND takes this offering deep into the underworld with her remix of the title track. The Pollination co-founder and Down To Earth resident takes us through enthralling, swampy low-end, cavernous dub hits and tripped-out acid, faint hints of the original track permeating throughout.
Following releases from Dublins Fio Fa & naive label head Violet, LA-based Cromie & Timedance affiliate rRoxymore and various artists compilation Visions Vol. 1, Holly Lester prepares the next chapter of dualistic bleeps, bloops and blends from Utrecht producer Tifra on Duality Trax. Re-imagining vintage club sounds through a contemporary lens, Tifra is no stranger to stretching the electronic music template into new forms and ideas. His left-field house and old-school breaks have found their way onto Gestalt Records and Rough Recordings, and here the producer turns in three cuts of blissed-out electronica, hedonistic progressive and jungle-run club with its sights firmly fixated front left, complete with a wicked remix from one of modern dance music's most reliable names - Roza Terenzi. Plastic Replicant is a vocal-laced electro-house roller that takes inspiration from the golden-era of 90s electronic music and fuses it with the organic, multi-genre blends of the current gen. The ravey continuum is laced with high-frequency vocal stabs and deep basslines designed for a heads-down approach on the dancefloor, before Entomology captures the playful side of the club with its shape-shifting acid-lines, trance-licked melodies and kaleidoscopic blend of colour, feeling and mood. Out of the club and onto the beach, International Waters is a trip-hop inspired, downtempo dub that will delight ambient and laid-back electronic-revellers with its chirpsing birds and aqua-like aesthetic, before Roza keeps the dualism alive with a stripped-back jungle flip of the original; the perfect score for the perfect daydream.

Atlas (/ˈætləs/; Greek: Ἄτλας", Átlas) – an Olympic God, and a descendent of the Titans, condemned to hold up the heavens for eternity. A philosopher, mathematician and astronomer, and inventor of the first celestial sphere. Atlas (/ˈætləs/; Greek: Ἄτλας", Átlas) – a collection of maps, or a description of the creation and form of the whole universe. Whatever Atlas you refer to, you'd refer to something infinitely vast and etheric. And this is how we'd define the sound of Bayern based Vincent Vetter. Although having been an established DJ and producer within the German Psychedelic scene for a decade, we at Navigare HQ feel honored to launch his tranced-out Techno project Atlas to a wider global audience. We released his debut single "Alpha" on the Navigēra compilation earlier this year, a crunchy and highly versatile dancefloor bomb, that could be played at any hour of a party, and encouraged Vincent to keep on sending us new material. His debut EP is an impressive work of art, following the sonic pathway of "Alpha". Through crystal-clear production, a massive rhythmic section and a progressive and highly musical kind of storytelling, Atlas has found a niche, balancing expressiveness with subtleness elegantly. Music not afraid of taking up space, for people not afraid of expressing their beings through dance. And yes, being aging Swedish acid heads, we at Navigare Audio can't help but feeling nostalgic and proud to feel the celestial spirit of early Spiral Trax and Digital Structures being revived, 20-25 years later, from a land far, far away. To balance things up, to add a bit of yang to the yin, we invited brother Ness to revision "Tao". And although we've already released a whole bunch of bangers from him, this one could possibly be his best to date. Distinctively Ness, yet with a load of new ideas, this one is, in short, a psychedelic butcher. We're in awe, and we suspect this will make many jaws drop in 2024. Written and produced by Vincent Vetter Remix by Andrea Deplano Mastered by Mattias Fridell Design by Fredrik Navigare Photography by Lars Nyquist
New Dawn, the Figure premiere of Japanese techno exporter and groove connaisseur Wata Igarashi. His psychedelic grooves are currently some of the most sought after material out there, shimmering with life, richly laden with crystalline arps and swirling synth lines. On his first outing for Figure hi finely detailed compositions merge into a sound that is equally dense as it becomes wildly mesmerizing. Loops stacked on top of each other for maximum effect, building a sense of depth and connection, and developing their captivatingness over each tracks full runtime.Igarashi uses strict linear progression and a set of vibrant ideas in order to create four hypnotic pieces that range from rumbling low-end bass to propulsive and driving acid to rattling percussion and finally round out the package with some trippy off-kilter rhythms.
Whirloop from Gothenburg, Sweden has always been a firm favorite at JOOF HQ, hence why we are excited to release this, his second artist album with us. His sound falls between Psy Trance and Regular Trance, insuring all his productions are swamped with quality. Don't expect any thrills or spills, this album is aimed dead squarely at the more serious underground dancefloors....eventually a producer making music from his heart!! As a bonus, you'll find an exclusive remix of Planshere's classic Hosanna.
Almost five years have passed since Ness released his globally praised LP "Trancemigration". As the name and trippy artwork suggested, this now classic album truly pioneered the return of Trance as an underground phenomenon. Ness has been on a mission for many years now, to bring back the psychedelic depth, warmth and subtle ecstacy of the original Trance sound into a contemporary Technoid context. With this, his second and long awaited, LP he has perfected his unique vision, with new influences, crystal clear production and a broadened sound pallette. Aptly titled "Flesh Of The Gods", this is a musical journey for body, mind and spirit to harmonize, individually and collectively; internally and externally. He has found a solid and mature way of honoring legends of the past, yet steering the ship towards a bright, multicolored future. Weigh anchor, captain! Robert Nickson is one of the trance world's most consistent producers with a discography that stretches back to 2003. Take a look at what happened here. Big Boss & Half Boss decided to make a small VA with a few hand-picked bangers. The thing is, right now both bosses are watching me closely to make sure that I'm working, so I pretend that I'm typing stuff related to this VA, although you know well by now that I'm typing the story of my life. Enjoy!
