belonging continues its 2026 run with a new EP from Sian and Matt. Why You Tripping lands on February 13 and brings a tougher, more restless edge into the catalogue, sitting on the rougher side of Indie Dance with clear techno and acid influences. Ireland-born and now based in Los Angeles, Sian has built a reputation for high-impact club records and sharp, forward-moving production. Matt, hailing from Patagonia in Argentina, adds his own raw, groove-driven perspective to the collaboration, resulting in a release that feels direct, functional and made for late-night floors rather than polished listening. The title track Why You Tripping is driven by a tight, rolling groove and biting synth work, lifted by a vocal contribution from David LeSal that gives the track its hook and attitude. Enemies keeps the pressure on, leaning further into acidic sequences and percussive drive, built for late-night momentum and peak-time sets. As the next release on belonging this year, the EP expands the labels sound into slightly tougher territory while staying true to its club-focused, contemporary direction.
Strangesonic is a sonic voyager deconstructing the veil between organic reality and digital mysticism. Long known for weaving rhythmic, earth-bound tapestries, his latest evolution sees him pivot into the cold, geometric precision of the underground. His debut on Soupherb Records, with Spectral Cartography EP, is a blueprint of the nocturnal unseen—a three-part descent where haunting melodies meet driving, subterranean energy. The Map of the EP: Spectral Cartography Aetherwake: A shimmering transition where fluid rhythms meet celestial distortion. The sound of crossing over. Echohedron: It is a track designed for the peak-time shadows. Sharp, percussive edges fueled by driving, expansive energy. Phantasm: The final dissolution. A raw, hypnotic pulse navigating the blurred lines between the physical world and the ghostly subconscious. Mastered by Audiosol Artwork by Špela Fridau
PIF Mizik presents Exhale #03, the third chapter of a compilation that has become a manifesto. More than a various artists release, Exhale is a collective breath — a space where identities converge and resonate through deep, organic soundscapes. For this new edition, PIF Mizik brings together Fractal Minds, Chakruy, Miko, Unlog, Good Old Raoul, L-xir, Halform, Souronne and Haber — nine artists with distinct sensibilities, united by a shared vision of introspective, emotional and immersive electronic music. Moving between downtempo, melodic techno, psychedelic textures and hypnotic grooves, Exhale #03 explores transitional states — where the body slows down, the mind opens, and breath becomes the guide. Supported by a strong and symbolic visual identity, this compilation embodies the very essence of the Psychedelic International Family: a shared inner journey, a human connection translated into vibration. Breathe in. Breathe out. Exhale.

J.FAY and Dianthe return to the fold with Erebus, a masterclass in tension and nocturnal atmosphere that perfectly aligns with the labels reputation for uncompromising dark minimal techno. The track is built upon a foundation of surgical precision, featuring a relentless, driving low-end that commands the dancefloor from the first beat. Expertly weaving haunting, metallic textures and distorted vocal stabs through the arrangement, creating a sense of creeping paranoia and sonic depth. On the remix duties Michael Scheppert delivers a skeletal, warehouse-ready tool that strips the original down to its industrial core with driving percussive synth stabs and a sub-heavy kick. 5 years after the New York label launched into the uncertain world of the COVID pandemic, Kindergartens place in the New York landscape is secured. Today, the label releases its most laser-focused collection of tracks to mark the anniversary, punctuating a deep catalogue of heaters that have pushed a unique take on bass music marked by a fervent futurism and scattergun rhythmic flourish. Kindergarten has acted as a nursery of creativity for a core crew of artists discovered through physical proximity and online connection alike, and always through shared appreciation for tough and ready dancefloor sounds and genuine friendship. Fitting then, that every one of the Kindergarten alumni returns with quintessential rhythmic intricacy and head-spinning quirk, reaching for what now feel like classic Kindergarten touchpoints. Whether its knotty, muscular techno (Zipper, Tidal Bore, Lips Loose), weapons-grade sound-design (FBchord, Blah), somersaulting 160 (Mushin, splattertek, Dash You) or gnarled nods to trance (rAin, Aether Wounds, what the body does) the essence of Kindergarten is here in all its amorphic glory. Helmed by a queer woman amid the traditionally cishet and hypermasculine bass music milieu, Kindergarten helped pioneer these sounds in a city that had yet to fully adopt them as its own. Inclusivity and a family feel is at the heart of the label: witness any of Kindergartens monthly mega b2bs on The Lot Radio and you can feel how much fun the crew have playing together and how freely ideas bounce around. As ever, these tracks are bound by the same wild abandon at their core. Five years is a long time in club music, and its no easy feat to build a catalogue of music and a tight-knit community of people, all with disparate influences, and remain committed to experimentation and play while the results retain a crystallized identity. But listen to any of the eleven tracks in here and you will know what makes a Kindergarten record.
Spacetime Roundabout brings together ten tracks that refused to drift into oblivion, remaining in orbit through countless rotations. Originally released across different formats during the 2007-2015 era, with some early versions reaching back much further, each track was shaped by years of pressure, erosion, and endurance. At their core, these are still the same tracks, evolved beyond their rawer younger selves. This album captures their current state, at this particular point in space and time. Whether this is techno, trance, or something else is open to interpretation. Genres exist here only as basic elements, bent and fused until their laws break down. Dedicated to those who stayed too long, listened too closely, and realised too late that one does not escape the gravitational pull of a spinning turntable.
DJ Wank's Who Is Jack returns in full force with a heavyweight remix EP on AcidWorx.
