Michael Reinboths third release under his real name. Produced with Jan Krause (Beanfield). Cover image by Ena Oppenheimer. A vibrant mid-tempo delight. The drums are played by Peter Gall, whose album Love Avatar was named Best Jazz Album of 2024 by the German Jazz Awards. On keyboards is Roberto Di Gioia, mastermind of Web Web and Marsmobil. The rest, programming, production, is played by Michael Reinboth and Jan Krause (Beanfield). The Moodorama remix is just as wonderfully groovy. Moodorama is currently riding high, as evidenced by their other great remixes for Jazzanova, Charles Petersohn, Beatkozina, and Inkswel. After early Beanfield productions, circa 20 remixes (some old ones labelled simply Compost Remixes), more than 30 compilations and 30+ years of running Compost, a few 12s under alter egos, the Compost boss decides to liberate the alias and mystic.
Beat Le Juice delivers his take on Put Some Love, one of The Niceguys standout recent releases. Once again showcasing his impressive musical chops, Beat Le Juice stays true to the soul of the original while infusing it with his signature electronic funk flavours. A driving, 80s disco-funk-inspired rhythm gives the track a solid foundation, with synth riffs and bass parts creating the perfect backdrop for Bobby Saints nusoul-drenched vocals to shine. BLJ: The groove on Put Some Love hooked me straight away, those vocals and smooth guitar lines really caught my ear. I wanted to channel that energy into an 80s-inspired boogie funk direction; bright, bouncy, and full of synth lines. Id been listening to a lot of Jafunk at the time, so that influence definitely crept in. This remix is my way of giving the original a fresh new shine.
Disco-dipping an evergreen house classic, Nick Reach Up presents his delightfully funky remix of Gadjos Im Watching You (So Many Times). A proven crowd favorite at Reach Up events and festival DJ sets, this rendition brings some fresh energy into a beloved piece of house music history.

This EP offers fresh takes built for DJs: a deep, atmospheric Dub for late-night, musically tuned-in crowds; a stripped Instrumental for those who want the groove without vocals; and an L.E.D remix that swaps the organic feel for tense breakdowns, huge crescendos and a deep, bassline-led drop guaranteed to lift any floor. Feeling Wide is an expansive new wave funk jam that evokes 1980s New York City downtown disco. An original from the mind of FSQs Chuck Da Fonk, its a song about self-deprecation with lines like I cant get out of my own way, Im feeling wide today. Walking down the street, I cant get around myself as if to say we are our own worst enemies. The sentiment of the song is brought to life by the layered vocals and sassy delivery from MoFunk Records star Moniquea. While Feeling Wide might have a somewhat cutting attitude, the song is both funky and fun - and it really opens when its punchy bridge hits with heavy percussion and thick layers of synths, including a solo from XL Middleton. The track features members of FSQ including One Era (Matt Coogan) and Tate Masimore on multi-instrumentalist duties, and G Koop turning in a ukulele performance.
Sonic Soul Orchestra and Mishelle Ivon bring pure joy to the floor with their new double-sided single, comprised of Stomp Your Feet and One Love. Leading the charge, Stomp Your Feet is party-inducing disco house at its finest: upbeat, infectious production paired with Michelles rich and fervent vocals. On the flip, One Love carries the same spirit forward, radiating positivity and demanding movement from the dancefloor. Together, they capture the timeless essence of house music, transporting listeners to an era built on pure soul and good vibes.
SITARA I WILL Co-produced by Pawas Remixes by Alexander Robotnick, CYRK, and NHAR Release: 03.10.2025 (T.B.C) I WILL was written by SITARA in her early twenties, a time when life was measured in nights on the dancefloor, moving from techno party to techno party across the world. The lyrics capture that period of freedom and exploration, a love letter to dancing, traveling, and taking life as it comes not, as she puts it, taking the hard way to heaven. Now, decades later, the song returns with fresh production and a lineup of inventive remixes, carrying both the joy of that moment and the perspective of the years since. Co-produced with her brother, Berlin-based electronic artist Pawas, the original track pulses with shimmering Italo disco grooves and indie pop sensibility, anchored by SITARAs luminous, emotive vocals. SITARA makes her debut on Hot Elephant Music, the label run by Italo disco legend Alexander Robotnick, who also contributes a playful, synth-rich remix full of vintage charm. Berlin-based duo CYRK deliver a disco peak-time anthem of a remix, injecting sharp electro edges and a cosmic club punch, while French producer NHAR offers a lush, dreamy reinterpretation that expands the emotional scope of the original. With I Will, SITARA weaves together the past and present of her musical expression, creating space for lightness and play while encouraging us to embrace who we are and simply go with the flow. Be wild, be child - just be who you are.
