Theyve also released music on labels like Crosstown Rebels, Diynamic, and Get Physical and have been remixed by international artists such as Solomun, Adriatique, Clarian, and Okain. They describe their music as Memories of the Future, the motto of their brand Nazca. As DJs, theyve performed at the worlds best clubs and festivals, bringing their unique sound across the globe, holding residencies from Ibiza to London, and creating countless underground hits. An icy wind blows from the Balkans as two cold & talented artists join forces for their Pakate debut. With an impressive combined streak of releases on labels like Desolat, Hottrax, Take Notes, and Tamango, to name a few, Serbian powerhouses Mene and Misha sat in the studio for "Ground Shaker" EP, and the result perfectly fits with the title meaning. On the lead track, the pairs provide a hefty, rumbling track that punishes the listener with its vibrant energy, pushing percussion to the forefront alongside playful, scattering vocals and booming bass tones, whilst "Check My Flow" brings deeper rhythms, minimal grooves, and sinister plucks synths. Closing the EP in style, Mene's solo "Somewhere In Between" dives underneath, winding through esoteric-ish chants, pulsating yet mental rhythms, and wailing atmospheres.

Artslaves head up their own prominent label Moan Recordings that has become one of the undergrounds finest. Hito meanwhile hails from Japan but is based in Berlin and deals only in timeless and fresh house and tech fusions after long being resident at Richie Hawtins ENTER. Quit Tonight has a garage-style groove that is built on bouncing drums with raw, snappy snares. The bassline underpins it all and clipped vocals finish it in infectious style. Just Feel It builds on similar foundations with more brilliantly dry, stripped back drums that really cut through and plenty of subtle sonic embellishments that bring the style. Its a catchy, timeless sound for getting the whole floor locked in. These are two brilliant new cuts from Artslaves and Hito.
