Cass and Baunder drop some serious heat with fresh remixes of Danny Tenaglia x Cass & Slides iconic Fever Rising. Originally crafted by the legendary Danny Tenaglia and released on Cass and Lee Burridges FIRE Recordings back in 2001, Fever Rising stood tall as one of the defining tracks of progressive houses golden era. A dance floor weapon supported by heavyweights like Sasha, John Digweed, and Tenaglia himself, its tough drums and dark sonics perfectly embodied the underground spirit that ruled the clubs of that time. First up, the ever-reliable Baunder injects his trademark silky grooves into this classic, updating the drums without losing that tribal essence. Playful melodics weave around the hypnotic vocal, creating a timeless blend of energy and emotion. Next, Cass Cutbush steps in with two fresh versions. His 4by4 mix channels the raw drive of early-2000s prog, with subtle shifts and an epic main break that pays homage to the scene he helped shape. On the breakbeat version, Cass explores a more emotional side wistful, hopeful, and beautifully melancholic.
For fans of Phaeleh, Burial, El-B, Djrum and Synkro. Z Lovecraft approaches dance music in a different way. Its not about being as banging as possible, its about approachable grooves that keep the ear turning with musicality. This EP is a tribute to the lost sound of future garage, that strange space between 2-step and experimentalist approach.
It is bad when one thing becomes two. One should not look for anything else in the Walk Of The Panther. It is the same for anything that is called a Walk. If one understands things in this manner, he should be able to hear about all ways and be more and more in accord with his own. Eighteenth single for 2025 and fast rising Spanish Breaker Dj Zuko is ready for his Architektur Records debut!!This is the sound of tomorrow, the sound of Architektur Records. Dekmantel welcomes Theo Kottis back for his second release on the label - three high-impact club tracks plus a remix from rising star Spray. Following Lighthouse - named song of the summer by Resident Advisor - Blue Supermoon carries the same melodic punch, rhythmic drive - and its already lighting up some of the worlds most treasured dancefloors. The title track has been circulating for over a year, with early support from Batu, Call Super, Francesco Del Garda and Ben UFO and plays at Houghton, fabric and beyond. Its a swirling, tension-loaded cut where pads and an arpeggiated topline intertwine over a weighty, driving bassline, underpinned by intricately layered percussion - the kind of track that stays with you. What To Do was inspired by a night out at fabrics 25th birthday party, linking back to Kottis recent release on fabric Records. Hyper aims for big-room euphoria, with a towering build-up and hands-in-the-air release. Spray closes the EP with a shimmering, progressive-leaning take on Hyper, adding his signature slow-burn tension and widescreen energy.
LWS returns to Parris and Call Supers can you feel the sun imprint with All Of The Chaos. 4 mutant rollers in his now-singular style, sharp constructions meticulously designed with club drama and devious rave energy. A year on from Palloon, and Edinburghs LWS has certainly left his mark. His inner metronome ticks differently, ornate club constructions snarling with hypnotic fervour. His music has been ubiquitous across clubs and festivals over the past twelve months as a result, and on his second EP for can you feel the sun he proves theres still plenty left in the tank. Opener Many Requests goes galactic, a wide-eyed entanglement of melody and rhythm that gallops tough yet supple through an ever-shifting landscape; an inevitable deconstruction ensues, before the salivating return sets us back on course. Gooly shifts darker, a looping roller with sultry swagger that deviously maintains its shuffling delirium with uncanny nous. Sharkbait on the flip cultivates a jaw-gnawing tension, vibrantly edging towards that ecstatic release with unrelenting ease. Closer All Of The Chaos goes weirdest, a chromatic safari swivelling on its mechanised 2 step through a carousel of unhinged sound design to its conclusion; signing off on yet another collection of future-shock missives from LWS. Early DJ support from Call Super, Objekt, Pariah, Surusinghe, Ploy, OK WIlliams and Pangaea.
