Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars is the second studio album by dance music pioneer Seven Lions. Featuring eleven tracks spanning melodic dubstep, drum & bass, psytrance and progressive, the project is a testament to Seven Lions genre-defying and boundary pushing production style. The album reunites Seven Lions with longtime collaborators HALIENE, Fiora and Kerli as well as singer/songwriters No/Me, Lilly Ahlberg and OAKS for expertly crafted vocal performances throughout. This album is about feeling increasingly out of place in the current media landscape and just really turning away from the noise and focusing back on what I love about music. Cosmico
Arteforma is a musical project devoted to exploring deep and introspective sonic landscapes, blending bright and dark nuances, intertwined melodies, and emotional storytelling. For Arteforma, music production is not only an artistic vocation, but a passion cultivated since 2009: a vital balance between inspiration and personal well being, and an ethereal expression of his inner self. With a dynamic and resilient approach, he continuously experiments with new sound textures, modulations, and production setups, crafting ambient and rhythmically rich experiences that connect deeply with the listener. After years of performing under different aliases, a new artistic path emerged in 2020 under the name Arteforma. His works, released on various labels, carry a distinctive and recognizable sonic identity built on refined aesthetics and compositional sensitivity. Over the years, Arteforma has performed in numerous clubs in Italy and abroad, both under this project and previous aliases including Juice, Fluid, and This is Not in Italy; Pratersauna and Sass in Vienna, La Terrrazza in Barcelona, Minimal Bar in Berlin, and Das Viertel in Basel. His new EP Cosmico, released on Traum, is a journey inspired by the profound connection between space, nature, and electronic music. The three tracks Cosmico, Jupiter, and Orion explore celestial atmospheres and organic rhythms, weaving a sonic narrative that blends cosmic exploration with earthly grounding. Each piece is a fragment of a sensory voyage, inviting the listener to get lost in an emotional and contemplative universe. The title track Cosmico is an anthem to the infinite, a deep, hypnotic journey that gradually opens into vast, weightless atmospheres. It evokes the feeling of drifting beyond the physical, where sound becomes a vessel for introspection and exploration. As the title track, it encapsulates the essence of the EP: cosmic travel grounded in emotional depth. Inspired by the majestic constellation, Orion pulses with forward motion and celestial energy. Bright melodic fragments float over a steady rhythmic backbone, painting a night sky full of direction and mystery. Its a track that invites movement, both outward and inward. Jupiter brings a sense of gravitational pull and expansive sound. Its deep, layered textures and slow-burning energy mirror the massive presence of the planet its named after. Equal parts powerful and contemplative, the track captures the duality of space: overwhelming scale and serene beauty. Stripped of rhythm, the ambient mix of Cosmico drifts freely in an atmosphere of stillness and wonder. It feels like observing Earth from orbit, quiet, suspended, infinite. Shell~Wave
Two years after releasing the acclaimed Crash Recoil, Anthony Child aka Surgeon returns to Tresor with new LP, Shell~Wave. Retaining the minimal equipment list and studio-version-of-live-show-sets approach of the previous album in order to focus on the work itself, Shell~Wave is a deeply personal document of both where Surgeon is and has been, converging three decades of experience with a continued curiosity in the untested. To make this project, I had to dig really deep in terms of what my relationship was to techno; Ive been involved with it for a really long time and theres a lot about it I feel dislocated from, so I had to really think hard about what techno is to me. I often get asked what is techno to you? but I cant answer that with words; this album is the answer. From the complex, twisting track Infinite Eye to the caustic Soul Fire, the eight tracks that make up the body of the album are single-take explorations of the vast, hard yet minimal techno Child is synonymous with. Neatly dividing the record in two, the emotional centre of the record comes in the form of Dying, a vibrating, beatless piece that witha mantra-like vocal loop steeped in reverberating effects. Further echoes of dub production appear throughout the record as tracks like Divine Shadow, and Empty Cloud have an almost ever-present mist of reverberation, driven by the appearance of a new delay unit in the equipment list; while much of the philosophy of Crash Recoils creation is present, the process and the instruments have changed as Child again switches up his approach to studio work. This insistence on trying novel techniques doesnt preclude returning to old ones, as this use of modern digital machines with live, hands-on takes that are as inspired by 60s producer Joe Meek and 70s reggae as they are by this years synthesiser expos. For me, its an interesting experience returning to old techniques again after 30 years. [Im] always exploring and finding myself back at the beginning. Connecting the present with the past. This philosophy of time travel is inherent to the music itself as the synchronised loops repeat while the delay and effects branch out, forming unique eddies; distinct quantum moments within the circular whole; the future leaking through the spaces between the sounds. All of the concepts on the album are perfectly communicated through the painting by Taiwanese artist Jazz Szu-Ying Chen which suggests the movement of water, sound waves, and the chitinous shells of sea creatures.

My childhood unfolded in a region where the Middle Ages never fully receded, where every village bears a crown of stone and every path is guarded by a cross. I didnt realize it then, but those relics were already burrowed their way into me. I often wandered through these places, especially the churches. I am not a man of faith—perhaps I would be better off if I were, who can say—but I still remember the sense of intimidation I felt before the symbols of Christianity: the soaring vaults, the organs, the paintings, the passion of the christ, the stories glowing through the stained glass. That feeling, somewhere between awe and unease, carved in me a lasting fascination for this aesthetic. I find in it a kind of grace, purity, and perfection. Arcana Anissa Temporum oblitum is a tribute to the most beautiful things Catholicism has ever built. At the end of the day, we are just people: we grow up, we are exposed to certain things, and later we try to spit them back out, and we try to stylize them. Recognition 25 Years
Recognition is one of the oldest Polish record labels releasing electronic music on vinyl. After over 25 years of continuous activity and dozens of records, its time for a recapitulation - and time to honour all the artists associated with the label. Jacek Sienkiewicz, an uncompromising artist and tireless promoter of new sounds, decided to invite almost all producers and musicians who have ever been guests at Recognition to collaborate. Recognition 25 is a musical journey, starting with the club hit Drifting by Jacek Sienkiewicz and ending with the ethereal ambient of Giro Araña. In between, we find a whole palette of colours and shades of modern electronics, from proper club tracks to technologically and compositionally advanced experiments. The first record of the compilation is definitely intended for DJs - tracks tailored for parties are presented by Chino, Jurek Przeździecki, Michał Wolski, the DWA duo, and Etiop. The second record is much more experimental - here Robert Piotrowicz, Porosty, Ostrowski, Jackname Trouble and Sroczyński present their singular visions. Both worlds come together via tracks recorded by Jacek with his friends - Max Loderbauer, AtomTM and Ricardo Villalobos. The compilation clearly shows how diverse, yet creative and original, the artists who have collaborated with Recognition over the past 25 years are. It is also a perfect example of how contemporary electronic music connects, inspires and paves new paths. And when created with heart and passion - it becomes timeless.

Having an artist with such artistic projection is a true cultural privilege, a conceptual heritage, where making music to make numbers is definitely far from the creative process of DJ and producer BLANCAh, considered today one of the great references for the new generations of the South American scene. Making an album is something that very few producers have ventured into in a hedonistic and uncertain post-pandemic world, and she presents her third in 10 years under the alter ego BLANCAh. An album requires a certain capacity and depth of sound structure that escapes the minds of those who live by copy and paste, which is why it is something that few propose to create. Music For When The World is Silent is my reunion with the essential force that has always guided me and that had died inside me for a moment. Designing tracks that speak to each other is a creative process that lasts for months, like a web that is built thread by thread until it forms a broad and connected structure. This process requires thinking about elements in an abstract way and applying them to each song to create a unique sound sense. This is what BLANCAh does in her new studio album, where she is partly inspired by feelings of anguish over her own musical evolution, until she finds the freedom to make music for herself, without having to look for references in markets that today seem to live in the past.

Joining ESSCO are the talented Ranj Kaler, a familiar face and debutant Luca Abayan from Argentina, adding a fresh perspective to our line-up. These producers consistently deliver outstanding work, each bringing something special to the table. To kick things off, were featuring the original track Flick The Switch. This compelling progressive number is designed to captivate, featuring a minimal tech approach within the main melody. The deep, rumbling bass and solid 4/4 kick make this track an undeniable choice for any dance floor and a must-have for all music genres. Dont miss it! Next up is the first of three remixes, this one from Argentinas Luca Abayan, Luca joins us for the first time and, to be sure, will not be the last. What Luca brings us is a monster, that well-known sound from South America that is recognisable from the off. There are no holds barred here that kick bass hits you hard from the off, and this grows and grows to the break before once again boom, We then have the first of two from Ranj, we and you all know when Ranj produces, it is of a top-tier level, and these are no different, Ranj does what he does sooooo well taking you in a different direction: His Deep State remix is gorgeous, a slice of breaks utilising the main line but in a very different sound/direction, This is something that you could see closing out a set, or setting things off, Lastly is Ranjs Beatless Deep State Remix, as you can tell by the title, it does exactly as it says, this has a very Sashaesque Refracted feel to it, stripped back, but very recognisable within the original, this pulls together a very special release here, truly giving something different to all tastes. Haze
Since his early days at Chain Reaction, K. Soublis (Fluxion) has carved his own unique style, combining elements of dub, ambient, techno, score, textural, and even jazz elements, all glued together with his distinct production aesthetic. Haze is a broad selection of pieces that was recorded between 2023-2024. The music is moving from more slow cyclic compositional pieces on Life Motif, Nexus, Desiderium, to ambient dub pieces, on Magenta and Touch, on to more euphoric and uplifting ones on Footsteps, Berlin and What Tommorow Brings, reflecting on artists need to tell stories. As a whole Haze showcases the artists versatility on moving and combining different genders with his own distinct crafted sound, bringing a bold always fresh unique view, making the album an indulging and intriguing listening experience as a whole. Fluxion has managed to constantly adding to his sound through the years always evolving and Haze is a testament of his restless nature and the artist�s need to move towards more uncharted territories without alienating the listener.

The debut release by psy-RA on Shadow Mined Recordings, Flood, is a deep, trippy downtempo cut inspired by events during and after hurricane Helene in Asheville, NC. Flood oscillates from melodic, playful themes to tribal chaos and back to contrast the intense suddenness of devastating loss against an optimistic hope found in the solidarity of a communitys response to tragedy. Travis Christians remix relies heavily on the tribal drums and ragga style vocals of the original to provide an interpretation that remains true to these themes without sacrificing any energy on the dance floor.

Silent Starts
Release number thirty-nine sees the return of Luis León to Manjumasi. Luis is no stranger to the label, having previously released the Flaming Tree EP with Padre, as well as remixing Jamie Stevens on the Titans EP. Luis now teams up with his production and Blankhaus label partner Unseener for a showcase of expressive and expansive modern uptempo grooves. The title track Silent Starts is an evocative tension-builder that pulsates with percussive energy and a sense of positive urgency throughout. Were thrilled to welcome London-based wunderkind Tom VR to the label with his absolute fire Anthemix of Silent Starts, reworking the track with his signature deep rumbling basslines and a humanizing vocoder part. Completing the EP are a second uplifting original, Infinite Joy, and Rebirth, a delicate ambient piece that highlights this production partnerships sensitivity to nuanced sound design.
