Piero Farho brings "Deliverance," a peak time afro tech track designed for big moments and bigger systems. The basslines hit hard and stay locked throughout, while a strong melody provides the hook that makes the track memorable beyond its weight. A Syrian-born, Netherlands-raised producer with releases on Deep Root Tribe and We're Here, Piero has earned support from top tier artists within just months of producing. His music combines Afro and Latin influences with club-ready production, and "Deliverance" reflects his ability to balance force with musicality. Essential for DJs who play afro tech with substance.
'Long Time' is the first single announcing Maps, the new album by DJ Satelite and DJ Galio, currently in production. Maps is the second album for each of the DJs and definitively consolidates their identity within Afro House. After Raizes, a project that explored their artistic journey, Maps emerges as a portrait of the origins, expansion, and essence of African Afro House. The album highlights Luanda as one of the main epicenters of the genre's rise, at a time when Paulo Alves and Ricardo Alves introduced a new dynamic on the radio by creating a space exclusively dedicated to music made by African artists Dia da Semana 'Afro House'. This movement was crucial for structuring the genre and strengthening its identity. Over time, artists such as DJ Maphorisa and Bodhi Satva recognized the strength of the Angolan market, contributing to the global expansion and recognition of Afro House. Maps reaffirms this fundamental truth: Afro House is Africa. The album explores the concept of residence and belonging, revealing another side of Afro House's story on the continent, told by those who lived the process from within. The first single, 'Long Time', introduces the album's universe with an emotional and contemporary narrative: the longing for a time when love was genuine, lived without reliance on screens. The song celebrates affection, real connections, and love stories that emerged during the same period Afro House was being built. Lucas Moreno SA, a dual-nationality artist, born to a Brazilian mother and a South African father, features as a guest on 'Long Time', bringing his voice and personal experience. As the only Brazilian to tell the Afro House story from his own perspective, Lucas adds a connection between Africa and Brazil to the track, enhancing its emotional and cultural dimension without taking the spotlight from DJs Satelite and Galio. Maps is memory, identity, and direction. Following the release of The Sound, the collaboration between UK-based producer/live performer NenaHalena and internationally acclaimed DJ/producer Camilo Franco returns with a remix EP that reimagines the original's emotive energy through two distinct sonic lenses. Originally celebrated for its fusion of organic textures, uplifting melodies, and soulful grooves carried by Talia's evocative vocal performance, The Sound now enters a new phase on The Gardens Of Babyloin, inviting fresh interpretations from producers Urmet K and Marco Tegui & Angel de la Llave. Urmet K delivers a dreamy club interpretation, layering soft piano motifs over a lush, rolling groove that gently elevates the track's melodic core into late-night territory. His rework retains the emotional depth of the original while opening it up for more introspective dancefloor moments. In contrast, Marco Tegui & Angel de la Llave take the track into deeper territory, transforming The Sound into a hypnotic trip-hop landscape. Their remix unfolds as a slow-burning journey through textured atmospheres and pulsing low-end, offering a more immersive and cinematic take on the original composition. With these remixes, The Sound evolves beyond its original form to a continued exploration of rhythm, connection, and global dance culture through new creative perspectives.
