MPH triumphantly returns to Night Bass with his colossal album, Refraction. This 15-track collection brilliantly blends UK Garage influences with 140, Jungle, Deep House and Bass House - a testament to MPHs raw talent. Following the success of two previously released singles, Funk Master and Endorphins, Refraction takes listeners on a captivating journey from start to finish. The UK-based rising star explains how, Throughout youll see a variety of environments which Ive captured on my phone and carefully picked to match with the energy of each track. For some of the more gritty bass tracks its quite dark and urban, meanwhile the softer UKG side of the album ties to rural landscapes/sunsets. If theres one thing MPH has mastered, its the art of storytelling through his music. The opening track sets the stage, kicking the album off with an atmospheric build straight from a bass jungle. Each subsequent track builds on this energy, showcasing MPHs mastery of crafting infectious melodies and basslines. Two guest artists add their own unique spin to their respective tracks. Tottenham-based MC Subten unleashes his flow on track North LDN, while the powerhouse collaboration with label boss AC Slater on track Lights On, promises to drop some jaws. MPH continues to exceed expectations, and Refraction is guaranteed to leave listeners wanting more with every listen. Distributed by Label Engine - www.label-engine.com

This ep came together as I went through a huge life change. After starting the Nina project, I had a huge sense of freedom within the genre field and with that, came inspiration. Writing music with no boundaries or expectations. Just pure innocence. This ep is a sonic representation of this natural but crucial evolution of my artistry. —NINA
Fliss Mayo & Zebb Dempster are Dual Monitor, a London based duo. Their envelope pushing productions have earned them the moniker The UK Genre Alchemists from Rinse FM. Their open format approach to music also translates into their kaleidoscopic DJ sets which thread low slung bass, psychedelic techno, floor shaking sound-system cuts and zoned out dub and jungle. Their first EP on Nerve Collect represents everything they stand for from low end dubstep to funky tech and rattling riddims.
Gamma Intel returns to Nerve Collect with four tracks of electrically charged bass, techno and broken beats. His Time Loop EP explores a range of rhythms and tempos aimed squarely at the floor. Nerve Collect co-founder Gamma Intel is Dutchman Laurens van de Werken. He has always worked at the intersection of several different sounds, even as his references have evolved from chugging techno to deconstructed jungle. A unifying theme is this meticulous sound design: its leftfield and experimental but underpinned by irresistible rhythms while his synths are so tactile you could almost reach out and grab them. His latest studio adventures mark another subtle shift across four hard-to-define and otherworldly transmissions sent back from the future. Construct crackles with paranoid urgency driven by underlapping drums that push a cantering rhythm. Fragmented vocal chops and fuzzy, static-laced synths swirl throughout the mix to create a vortex of controlled chaos. Eerie breakdowns offer fleeting breaths, but the creeping tension of surveillance never fully releases before the disorienting momentum draws you back in. Node feels like a computer meltdown fused with a floating, dub-inflected and steppy rhythm. Snares flutter up top as frothing synths and warped bass bring the pressure. The final touch is human vocals, decayed by signal inference, which melt into percussive loops and echo about the mix. Cycle takes a more muscular approach. The oversized drums and hits engage in battle with a snaking lead as a backlit glow consumes both to provide for a moment of human beauty that contrasts with the stark machine warfare around it. Lever dives into deep dubstep madness, its full-bodied waves lurching like a storm-tossed ocean. Intricate details like distant sirens, flickering streetlights and mutant sine waves fill the stereo field and, paired with the unstoppable rhythmic force, hypnotise body and mind. Gamma Intels Time Loop EP is a masterclass in tension, texture and momentum that pushes club music into uncharted territory, keeps the body moving and the imagination fully engaged.
Identified Patient returns to Dekmantel for a third time with his Reset EP. The future-facing four tracker is another mutant fusion of bass and techno with low-end power with cerebral sound designs. Job Veerman debuted on the Dekmantel UFO Series in 2019, returned in 2020 and has lit up the festival several times with transportative sets that balance power with precision. Like his productions on the Nerve Collect label, he co-runs with Gamma Intel, they are leftfield explorations of genre and tempo that find strange sensuality in often abstract ideas. Once again here, the Dutchman draws on eclectic influences to craft music that sounds like no one else but remains anchored by magnetic rhythms. Opener Light kicks off with a fuzzy synth line that slithers between syncopated drums. Whispered vocals drift through the mix as lurching basslines swell and collapse beneath them. The groove disassembles and reassembles in waves, propelled forward by bursts of glitchy, off-kilter percussion thats unsteady yet seductive. Scales is a slow, menacing descent into rhythmic darkness. It sounds both ancient and futuristic with ghoulish vocalisations and filtered synths flickering like a badly wired circuit. Theres a rave tension lurking throughout, but always in the shadows. Internal Pace drives on but rides fluid, wobbly bass while tightly looped hits build the pressure. Layers of static and subtle distortion add grit to this unrelenting heads-down roller. Finally, Return is a kinetic, razor-edged ride where jungle breaks collide serpentine melodies. Ethereal female coos drift in and out, brushing against spat-out vocal fragments so that tension crackles throughout this hallucinogenic trip. With Reset, Identified Patient reaffirms his status as a singular voice who twists sound into evocative new worlds.
A decade in the making, West Coast Bass Archives: 2010–2020 is a hand-curated collection of Stephan Jacobs most influential tracks from the formative years of West Coast bass music. Selected by Muti Music from his deep back catalog, these songs capture the raw energy, innovation, and grit that helped define the West Coast underground electronic scene of the 2010s. Known for pushing boundaries in low-end sound design, genre fusion, and immersive live performance, Jacobs early releases helped shape an entire era of underground electronic culture. These arent just tracks—theyre moments frozen in time, explorations that laid the foundation for a sound that would ripple worldwide. This archive represents Jacobs creative output prior to launching his BOSA project, which has since become his primary artist moniker. With BIGGER THAN US—his latest project with Marieme—gaining exponential momentum and drawing influence from both his BOSA era and these early roots, the timing couldnt be better to revisit the music that laid the groundwork. This is the foundation. This is where it began. As BIGGER THAN US has started to really catch fire, it felt like the perfect moment to revisit the roots, says Jacobs. West Coast Bass Archives: 2010–2020 arrives ahead of a new chapter, as Jacobs continues to evolve through BOSA and BIGGER THAN US—projects that pull threads from these sonic origins while breaking new ground.

Label bosses OZBEK and Zafer Atabey join forces once again, this time under their EXTVISIONS, pushing boundaries with their wildest collaboration to date — the Pop It Off EP. Known for their bold approach to club music, the duo delivers a high-energy, character-rich release that straddles the line between night heat and playful innovation. The title track Pop It Off is an unapologetic tech house weapon, built for dancefloor detonation. Packed with punchy rhythms, infectious vocals, and an undeniable groove, its designed to light up any room with pure, unfiltered energy. Its bold, its cheeky, and it doesnt hold back. Wanna Ride (Original Mix) leans into a storytelling vocal performance that hooks you instantly. With lyrics like Saw her dancin on the floor / She gave me that look / I said, You wanna ride? / She said, Boy, I might, the track blends groove-heavy production with flirtatious lyricism and late-night charisma. Its modern tech house with an irresistible vocal flow, keeping things both sexy and fun as it builds momentum and mood across the dancefloor. Closing the EP is OZBEKs solo reinterpretation of Wanna Ride — a deep, dubstep-infused rework that shifts the energy entirely while retaining the core identity of the original. Its a curveball that highlights the duos willingness to experiment, offering something moody and bass-driven for those after-hours sessions or alternate set moods. Overall, Pop It Off is a statement EP — quirky, daring, and club-tested — reflecting both producers ability to fuse accessibility with underground attitude. A bold step for EXTVISIONS, and one thats bound to grab attention across the global scene.
Albion Collective - ALBIONGOLD002 - Jungle Rootz - Catharsis EP Jungle Rootz debuts on Albion Collective with his Catharsis EP. Built to shake foundations, it becomes the second instalment of the Albion Gold series and will be available on an extremely limited vinyl run as well as digitally. In keeping with the hand-crafted Albion Gold ethos, each of the 100 records will be hand-painted, numbered, stamped and gold embossed. All three tracks deliver their weight in gold, but Pigments relentless evolution certifies its A-side status. The rolling wave of plasmic pressure lifts further into the petrol-soaked sky with each pulse. Title track, Catharsis, opens up the B-side with a body-shoving, eyebrow-snarling bassline layered with this EPs trademark plasmic energy that unleashes melodies as well as it does murkage. Finally, like the ghosts who wander from the mist of Japans mountains, Yurei gains its power from the intangible negative space it creates. Effortlessly stripped-back, Jungle Rootz breaks all expectations with the age-old adage, less is more. Albion Collective is proud to welcome Jungle Rootz to the family. You can grab the second instalment of Albion Gold, the Catharsis EP, on vinyl and digital from 1st August 2025. Written by Cleary Mallard (Kamer)

DDD is ecstatic to welcome Tennessees finest sub flexor Chief Kaya to the roster, with his weighty, wobbly and woozy debut two tracker: Burning Bush / Implicit. Bringing classic UK dubstep flavours to the table with fresh execution, these tracks carry so much heat they quite literally caused a bassbin to be engulfed in flames - much like the classic biblical tale that is the inspiration. Burning Bush begins proceedings with its infectious synths, reverb drenched snare and low end wubs, before Implicit finishes the job with top tier wonk and intricate hihat patterns. Ready to burn up? Chief Kayas fanning the flames.
To celebrate one year since the release of Passions, I invited some of my favourite producers to put their own spin on the tracks that resonated with them. The result is a collection of eight fresh remixes that reimagine the album through entirely new lenses - from soulful and deep to experimental and raw. Im really proud of how it turned out - a fitting way to honour the anniversary of a project that means a lot to me. Even the cover got a remix, featuring a new take on my sons original artwork.
This groundbreaking 12-track project marks a defining moment for the Toulouse based artists who seamlessly blend a multitude of genres, pushing boundaries and defying expectations. With collaborations from some of the most exciting names in the scene - Alix Perez, Snowy, Chimpo, Strategy, and Trail - Amor Fati is a sonic journey like no other. After 5 great years of releasing music with 1985 Music, were very excited to release our debut album. This 13-track collection which weve spent 2 years working on and we cant wait to share it with the world. Amor Fati is a Latin phrase introduced by the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche that may be translated as love of fate or love of ones fate . It is used to describe an attitude in which one sees everything that happens in ones life, including suffering and loss, as good or, at the very least, necessary. This allows us to express our power, in order to flourish. For us this album represents who we are, in its entirety. Its an honour to have worked with all these artists who have influenced us during our journey in music and in life in general.

Presenting the Dark Guru EP from Toulouse's favourite quartet - Visages. This is their 2nd EP on the label to date. Their deep melodic and dark sound has helped them to truly make their mark on the genre. Also unrestrained by tempo or genre, Visages are prone to writing at various bpm's, as is evident in the dubstep (title) track Dark Guru. Visages have a special talent in creating music that is perfect for dancefloors, and for listening at home. No stone is left unturned in their compositions, and their style is truly unique. The Dark Guru EP is out on 30th April on vinyl and digital.
An artist with minimal online presence, Commodo is one of an increasingly rare few who make waves through the strength of their music alone. He builds bass-focussed beats with soul and substance that never perpetuate a formula, distancing himself from contemporaries with ingenious sampling and sound design influenced by his long-time affinity with the vibrancy of hiphop.
