Spaaax returns to MindTrip with Eleven D, his debut solo EP on the label following his contribution to the Mutable Minds XI compilation. Based in Moldova and resident at the Metanoia Underground series, Spaaax builds music from the depths of the subconscious — hypnotic, rhythmically driven, and deeply atmospheric. Eleven D captures that approach across four productions that move between the mental and the physical without losing momentum. This is MindTrip! - Cover image of NGC 198 by Pfirter. Mutual Rytm welcomes new school tastemakers Klint and Hemka to sub-label Versus for imprint's second drop. SHDW's Mutual Rytm welcomes back two standout label alumnus for the second edition of Versus, a newly- launched conceptual sub-label focused around two artists whose sound works individually and in unity. Hemka made an impressive and well-received debut with her full solo EP back in 2025, while Klint appeared on 'Federation of Rytm IV'. Both artists hail from France, and have crafted a well-earned reputation for their own distinctive approaches to sound design - pairing locked in grooves with cosmic synth escapes. Across the EP, each artist delivers three individual takes on techno to make for an essential collection of high-end cuts, exploring the label's ethos of creative symbiosis between two artists on one shared release. Klint's tracks lean towards minimal yet highly effective, dance floor-focused DJ tools, starting with the lithe, stripped back menace of 'Prism', before the sparse eeriness of 'Dobermann' keeps you looking over your shoulder while remaining trapped in the groove. Third cut 'Romance' is more bold and muscular, with contoured drums and icy pads ramping up the tension and energy. Hemka then dives deeper into a hypnotic and anthemic direction while introducing her own voice into the mix. 'Leave It' is textured, percussive deep techno with shadowy whispers, while 'Breathe' has a dark, grinning undercurrent and scintillating snares fluttering over the drums. 'Mindness' then pairs spoken word atmospherics with taught drum pressure and an ethereal backlit glow. In addition, Klints digital only cuts '1112' and 'Blue' marry minimal synths with meticulously defined drums that hit hard, while Hemka's 'Push' is an anxious percussive trip, contrasting with the introspective emotional core of 'Live To Tell'.
The 158th entry in the Mood Series turns inward, revisiting an important early chapter from grad_u with Laukiu Rytojaus. Originally recorded in 2006 and first released via Signorafranca, this reissue on Greyscale is not only a retrospective but also an intimate time capsule when our label head was defining his early stages of a now-recognisable sonic identity. What makes this release compelling isn't just its historical context as his second ever release, but how clearly it reveals grad_u's instincts way back then. While less rhythm-focused than his later work, the foundations of his ambient language are already present: restraint, atmosphere and depth. The title track, 'Laukiu Rytojaus', drifts in with a dreamlike softness. Floaty bass notes gently pulse beneath a hazy surface, while distant children's voices add an almost surreal emotional layer. It ebbs and flows with patience, never forcing momentum, instead dissolving as delicately as it began. 'Puiki Savaites Pabaiga' opens in near silence, led by bell tones that feel ceremonial, gradually joined by reflective chords. The interplay between these elements creates a meditative space-minimal, yet deeply expressive. It unfolds slowly, ending in a state of calm introspection. 'Atsiminimai Apie Vakar' closes the EP with a subtle lift in tone. Gentle chords carry a sense of optimism, while environmental sounds-crickets, birds-background the track in a natural setting. It sounds grounded and human, like a memory suspended in time. Laukiu Rytojaus is a meaningful revisit-both for longtime listeners and newcomers- giving us a look back to grad_u's beginnings.

Since a fateful meeting at a summer festival back in 2018, the collaborative force of Hedström & Pflug has been steadily carving out a distinct space within the modern techno landscape. Now, the prolific duo lands on Grab The Groove for GTG SOLO 011 with Signal—an impactful, impeccable release that is custom-built to rattle the sound system. With Signal, Hedström & Pflug masterfully navigate the sweet spot between deeply hypnotic states and raw club energy. The tracks lay down a foundation of powerful, overdriven kick drums that serve as the relentless motor beneath swirling, mesmerizing synth patterns. It is a sonic bridge perfectly suspended between sheer physical pressure and atmospheric sustain. Grab The Groove's decision to tap the duo for this release arrives at a perfect time. Over the past few years, Hedström & Pflug have refined a signature aesthetic that has led to an impressive output of more than 15 EPs across respected underground imprints like Newrhythmic, Room Trax, and SYXT. Not content to just operate within established channels, the pair have also successfully established their own release series, cementing their uncompromising vision with a milestone debut vinyl pressing last year. Bringing their seasoned production grit to GTG, Signal captures the sound of a duo operating at the absolute height of their synergy. It is a masterclass in tension, delivering the exact kind of peak-time heat that techno purists crave.
For our 30th anniversary, we reissue three absolute minimal techno statements by Robert Hood. These tracks define the birth of minimal techno — reduced to rhythm, pressure and repetition. No ornament. No compromise. Just structure, tension and movement. Originally released on Logistic Records, they remain as powerful and modern today as they were in the early 90s. Functional. Spiritual. Underground. This repress is not nostalgia. It is a reminder of what techno truly is. A key figure of the Detroit scene and co-founder of Underground Resistance, Robert Hood reshaped techno in the early 1990s by stripping it down to its purest elements. His vision rejected excess and focused on rhythm, repetition and tension — establishing a new spiritual and architectural form of techno.
