Refraction Records introduces Phantom Relay, a collaboration between the labels creator Pedro Capelossi and the veteran Brazilian artist B-Vision. Known for releases on Bedrock and Sudbeat, and for long-standing support from influential figures such as John Digweed and Carl Cox, B-Vision joins Pedro in crafting a deep and magnetic original. To expand the narrative, the EP features three distinct interpretations from top-tier remixers: a deep rework by Nhar, a techno-driven version by Raytek, and a dub-oriented reconstruction by Martin Jarl.

This release brings together artists shaping today's underground sound, such as HERS, Marcos Fagoaga, and JXXXO, alongside new emerging talent ready to break boundaries and drive the genre forward. Ben Sims Snapshot 99 has been remixed by ANNE, with three versions of one of 2023s Techno anthems joining an original dub on the release from Hardgrooves vinyl offshoot, Hardgroove Originals. Stemming from the hard discovery of a riff created in 1999, Snapshot 99 was one of 2023s biggest tracks, with its penetrative contemporary groove offsetting the floaty, infectious topline in a rare bit of studio alchemy that joins two centuries. Now, Greek artist and Hardgroove (and sister label, Symbolism) associate ANNEs versions take the track into undulating, percussive, and deep chord-laden territories that could resonate throughout a full night or provide an arsenal of weapons for the creative DJs out there. Sims dub, featured on the original release, hits vinyl for the first time in all of its stripped-back glory.
