Paco Osuna's record label, Mindshake, presents a funk-infused tech house EP by La Madone, which features two solo tracks plus a collaboration with WeMart. Based in France, La Madone is making her Mindshake debut following music on other respected imprints. Her style layers funky basslines underneath flowing percussion, laying a foundation for the infectious vocals that are trademark to her sound. La Madone is famed for her unforgettable DJ sets, and has played international shows everywhere from Ibiza to Bangkok. One of the three tracks on this release is a collaboration with WeMart who's a Mindshake regular, making his third appearance on the record label. He has a hip hop-inspired sound that has been a regular feature of Paco Osuna's DJ sets. 'Enough (You My B!tch Now)' is the EP's title track, and it's a percussive track with in-your-face vocals and a funky bass guitar. Next up, 'Hit Em With This' follow a similar formula as its predecessor, and the final track 'People Discontroller' is the collaboration with WeMart. 'People Discontroller' has crashing snares and hip hop vocals layered with a rolling bassline and shuffling hi-hats.

A long one in the making, RISQUE RECORDS' eleventh release goes back to the label's headquarters in New York with Jean Pierre and his "Tamboreo" EP. Longtime friend of RISQUE, Pakate's frontman, Jean Pierre, has been one of the very first supporters of Shahar and the RISQUE project, and we're delighted to have him on board with two originals and a remix by Barcelona-based Ssero. With releases on Hot Creations, Cuttin' Headz, and fresh from his new album "No Turning Back" on his own Pakate Records, Jean Pierre is a name that doesn't go unnoticed if you're familiar with groovy house and minimal rhythms, and his debut "Tamboreo" EP is a testament to his sound. The lead track revolves around a hypnotic ethnic chant filled with elaborate percussive patterns and booming basslines, whilst "Samba" - in collaboration with Spanish hitmaker Daniel Orpi - keeps the momentum alive by combining splashes of jazzy loops with an exquisite groove. Closing in style, formidable rising act Ssero takes the original into a warm, rolling opener with elegant dubby stabs and crystal clear, slinky grooves.
