House Heads welcomes back two familiar names as Redford and Walter Vooys return to the label with their brand-new single, "Pushin," featuring MOYA on vocals. Dutch DJ and producer Redford has built his sound around soulful energy and a true passion for house music, blending funky grooves, powerful instrumentation and raw classic house rhythms. His productions and remixes have appeared on respected labels including Simma Black, Perfect Havoc and Motive Records, earning support from artists such as Carl Cox, Claptone, K-Klass and Roger Sanchez. Once again, he teams up with fellow Dutch artist Walter Vooys, a natural collaborator who shares a similar approach to house music. Drawing on years of experience behind the decks, Walter's sound combines groove-driven rhythms, funky basslines, warm chords and soulful energy – qualities that also define his productions. For their latest House Heads release, the pair are joined by vocalist MOYA, whose recent collaborations include tracks with Noizu, Federico Scavo, Wankelmut, James Hurr and MOGUAI. Her music has appeared on major labels including Spinnin' Records, Toolroom and Sony Music. "Pushin" delivers pure disco house energy, bringing classic funky house influences into a fresh, modern production. Driving beats and a funky bassline form the foundation of the groove, complemented by a carefully selected funk sample and a rich combination of house and disco elements. Creative production details keep the arrangement moving, while MOYA's standout vocal performance takes the track to another level. The result is a high-quality, energetic blend of funky and disco house – a potential secret weapon for DJs and a strong choice for selectors and curators looking for fresh vocal house.
