MARRN, known for his rhythmic sound driven by his roots, has curated a hypnotizing mix exclusively for Float Records. The mix is released as a limited mix CD containing 31 unreleased tracks by up and coming talents and established artists from the techno landscape. Next to the CD, all tracks are released separately as a VA. A word from MARRN: When I was approached to do a cd mix for Float Records with my complete input from a dj perspective, I was nothing but honored and motivated to create something special. Ive selectively chosen producers who I feel musically connected to and those who could use a push in their young careers. Its important for me to be able to give back to the scene as much as it gives me. This mix and all the tracks selected are mainly focused on the key elements I wish for in techno, which is having a locked in groove and rhythm throughout the whole duration of time. Pushing for detailed minimalism and pace that keeps you in a driving energetic mood. Punchy variated low ends but never too heavy, a mix that brings the club dancefloor to wherever you are listening to it.
