A new release by Spanish artist Upercent marks the next stage of our schedule. Previously appearing on the label with a remix for Marcus Worgull and Daniel Bortz, Upercent is widely recognised for his avant-garde approach and fearless sonic experimentation - elements that distinctly define his artistic identity. With past releases on Mind Againsts Habitat, Crosstown Rebels by Damian Lazarus, Solomuns Diynamic, Cult Order, Essential Part, and Innervisions, Jose now returns to Eleatics with the striking Exit EP. The title track, Exit, is a clear manifestation of the experimental sound so inherent to Upercents work. Bold, shouting synth lines fused with acidic textures create a raw and electrifying tension, perfectly tailored for the underground dancefloor. Danish-Croatian producer Denis Horvat could hardly be a better choice for the remix, delivering an exemplary reinterpretation of Exit. By extracting the core sonic elements of the original, Denis focuses on a more dynamic progression, reshaping the track into a hypnotic, driving club weapon. Bacalao cuts loud and clear; a true testament to the underground essence of Upercents nature. Driven by a powerful 909 kick, the track evolves into a commanding banger, enriched with glossolalia-inspired vocals and swirling, distorted synth work that completes the EPs sonic narrative. A release were proud to mark and present.
