The Concept Behind 'Mandolo' Mandolo represents TSOS' artistic vision of Afro House-a musical journey that blends electronic grooves, tribal percussion, and evocative melodies into an immersive and emotional experience. The EP was created with the intention of building a connection between music, culture, and emotion, using the human voice as an expressive instrument capable of conveying energy, spirituality, and love beyond the literal meaning of words. For this reason, the project draws inspiration from the musicality of the Yoruba language, embracing its rhythm, musicality, and expressive character as artistic elements. The intention is not to authentically represent a specific linguistic tradition, but rather to pay tribute to the richness of African culture through a contemporary Afro House vision. The tracks featured on the EP, including Tana N'Golo, tell a sonic story where ancestral rhythms meet modern electronic production, creating a universal language that brings together cultures, emotions, and people through music.
