Tribu Ancestral includes 29 enchanting musical stories that tribute Pre-Columbian and post-colonial tribes across South-Central America; Their traditions, ceremonies, beliefs, day-to-day activities and their vision of life, coated with fine electronic sounds. Tribu Ancestral has been crafted with a futuristic and flexible approach by a beautiful team of artists deriving from 18 different countries on planet earth. This collection has been gathered by David Madrid, our Colombian member of the family and the co-owner of Skunk TLV, the well-known Downtempo and Organic House party production from Tel Aviv. The Bogota-born audiophile has carefully curated a package of heart-warming yet mysterious melodies that display organic sounds from his continent of birth, accompanied by charming instruments, all layered on a wide selection of electronic genres.
