Teniente Castillo returns to Roam Recordings with Two to Tango - an artfully crafted dark offering backed by a strong set of remixers that carry the integrity of the original into uniquely different areas. The original version from Play Pal Music label boss combines guitars and electronic sounds in a way that both sounds like a live band and an abstract excerpt from a conscious machine. Legendary New York artist Justin Strauss takes on the first remix adding a vocal that sounds like it was always meant to be underpinned by an exquisite liquid bassline. Thomass Jackson is up next with a beautifully quirky rendition that feels like an after party for which you want to be invited. Kaputt club resident Nuclear Digital Transistor rounds out the EP with a percussive version that brings out the guitars from the original in a new light and we gotta say if uniquely fitting basslines are your thing Nuclear Digital Transistor seals the deal on this four track EP.
