Sinitsin is back on Abstract Rhythm, this time with a full EP of six strong and versatile Electro tracks, called "A Temporal Paradox". A Temporal Paradox is a hypothetical contradiction of cause-and-effect within a timeline. The tracks contain everything from deep and subby to higher frequency driving basslines, subtle to distorted acid sequences, warm pads and melodies to harsh percussion sounds, from smooth floating grooves to energetic, dancefloor ready gems, while overall having the ability to make you travel through time and space, bringing you closer to the Temporal Paradox.
The twenty-first release from Electro Music Coalition is a deconstruction of familiar electro algorithms. In 'Morphing Reality EP,' the duo sin:it:sin and RSN abandon linear logic in favor of a more fluid, experimental architecture. The concept of the release is built around the idea of the mutability of matter. True to its name, the structure of the title track 'Morphing Reality' mutates and transforms in real time during playback, preventing the listener's mind from locking onto a familiar pattern. The same principle applies to the EP as a whole: the search for new forms and the rejection of standard frameworks become a systemic method of sound design. A layer of retro-futuristic aesthetics, referencing classic science fiction, serves as both an emotional and functional counterbalance to the experimentation. Here, drive is balanced by a deep atmosphere, giving the release a sense of dimension while maintaining a focus on a precise rhythmic structure. The sin:it:sin and RSN tandem constructs a process in which deconstruction operates not against form, but within it-imbuing the release with a sense of simulated depth, where any structure becomes merely a variable in the hands of the Architect.
