"Filaments came from getting a lot of different influences and them feeding into each other, like the filaments in your body. It just kinda came to me." Silkie, 2026 Filaments Vol 1/3 A: Mezame B: Sultry 4th Sept 2026 (MEDi139)

With its rolling hats and jungle-style breaks and samples, its hard to believe Put Me Down is 140bpm. But behind the dynamic rhythms lie signature undeniably Silkie-esque harmonies and a weighty, bassline that commands presence, already getting this one regular wheel-ups in the club! I Need mixes emotional, question-and-answer style vocals with dramatic chords, sprinkled in with synths nostalgic to West coast hip-hop, making this is a deep, heartfelt dubstep journey that hits hard from start to finish.
