Movement Limited welcomes a new collaborative release as Nick Newman and Serge Landar join forces for a refined progressive house EP featuring two original productions. British born and now based in Los Angeles, Nick Newman has built a reputation for deeply textured and emotive electronic music. Known for his warm, meditative soundscapes and atmospheric productions, his work has appeared on respected labels including Sudbeat Music, The Soundgarden, Manual Music, JOOF Recordings, Seven Villas and Akbal Music. His music has earned support from influential artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren and Gai Barone, helping establish Newman as a distinctive voice within the progressive house landscape. Joining him on the project is Ukrainian producer Serge Landar, a DJ and electronic musician who has been steadily developing his presence in the progressive scene since his first release in 2016. A resident on DI.FM Progressive, Serge has released music on labels such as Soundteller Records, RPO Records, Future Avenue, Balkan Connection, Electronic Tree and Aethereal, crafting productions known for their melodic depth and hypnotic groove. Opening the EP is Translucent, a flowing progressive house production built around a deep rhythmic framework and evolving melodic textures. Subtle atmospheric layers and detailed synth work gradually unfold throughout the arrangement, creating a smooth and immersive journey that highlights the complementary styles of both artists. The release continues with Feeling Blue, which explores a slightly deeper and more introspective direction. Driven by a warm bassline and rich harmonic elements, the track develops through expressive melodic progressions and carefully shaped dynamics, delivering a thoughtful and emotive progressive piece that closes the EP with elegance.
