For this release we welcome RKYV, a Leeds-based duo making serious moves on the underground. With previous EPs on 3am Recordings, Sonare and Bombis Records, their unmistakable sound is already catching the ears of the DJ elite. RKYV - Up Is Down (Rob Pearson Mix) Next in the ring is Evasive Records boss Rob Pearson, who takes things deeper with a driving tech-house rework. Thick low-end, rolling percussion and a steady forward momentum make this one a perfect fit for those DJ crates marked 'Deep & Tech.' Designed to slice through the system and keep the floor moving. RKYV - Up Is Down (Orlando Voorn Mix) Triangle.Records label head Orlando Voorn steps in with a trippy, funk-infused techno interpretation. Wonky, unpredictable and full of character, Voorn's wizardry gives the track a completely different edge - proving this EP is far from a standard deep release. RKYV - Up Is Down (The Maersk Project Mix) Rounding off the package, The Maersk Project emerge from the depths of the studio for a rare but powerful appearance.
