❖ We are pleased to present the debut EP by Rio de la Luz. It features two original tracks accompanied by two outstanding remixes by Landhouse and Friends of Hannes. Inspired by the forces of the tides, the release unfolds as a journey through currents, depths and transitions between stillness and motion. ❖ Neap tide ❖ Forms the calm anchor of the EP. A warm, flowing track that slowly unfolds, creating an almost weightless depth with gentle rhythms and shimmering textures. Like the neap tide itself, it recedes and expands, creating space and allowing every detail to breathe. ❖ Riptide ❖ A more intense maelstrom of pulsating drums and driving energy. Here, the elements condense and currents start to move, the rhythm gains power and draws listeners deeper into the stream. ❖ The two remixes open up new perspectives on Neap tide ❖ Landhouse further reduces the tempo and transforms the track into a dense, almost ambient landscape. An immersive bass and precise percussion give the version a new depth as if diving even further below the surface. Friends of Hannes take a different course. They break up the structure and significantly accelerate the pulse. Retaining the enchanted atmosphere of the original, but giving it a clear forward momentum.
