Following up Orkidea’s recent collab with metakomplex, we have another collaboration – this time with fellow Fin SØNIN. Another cut from Orkidea and Solarstone’s ‘PTXI’ compilation, ‘Avril’ is a deliciously sophisticated 138bpm helping of pure trance with that distinctive Finnish flavour. Solid kick, crisp hats and a DX7 ‘lately’ bass provide the foundation - with neat vocal snippets, fab melodies and some burbling acid for good measure.
