NAAK, Bun Xapa feat. Rowlene present Intoxicated, the first single from NAAK's forthcoming After Hours EP and the Paradise Sound System debut for all three artists.\n\nThe collaboration brings together three distinct South African creative voices. NAAK continues the Afro House direction that has defined his recent catalogue, pairing performance-led songwriting with a sound rooted in African rhythm, melodic groove and a growing international outlook. His recent work has included collaborations with artists such as Black Coffee, Kususa, Argento Dust and Bun Xapa, with the latter already forming part of his evolving Afro House journey.\n\nBun Xapa adds a deeper electronic edge to the record. Born in the Free State and now based in Portugal, his work blends Afro House with broader electronic influences while remaining closely connected to African musical traditions and identity.\n\nRowlene brings the track's emotional centre, adding the soulful vocal presence that has made her one of South Africa's most recognisable contemporary R&B voices. Her approach to songwriting and performance gives Intoxicated a different dimension, balancing the record's club-focused production with intimacy and melodic depth.\n\nTogether, the three artists introduce the world of After Hours through a record shaped by late-night energy, connection and the blurred space between the dancefloor and what happens after it. Released through Paradise Sound System to coincide with NAAK's programme at Amsterdam Dance Event 2026, Intoxicated opens a new chapter for NAAK while bringing three established South African artists together on the label for the first time.
