LOOD & Masters At Work feat. Donell Rush - Shout-N-Out (Remixes) [MAW Records] A cornerstone of the MAW Records catalogue for over two decades, Shout-N-Out by LOOD & Masters At Work feat. Donell Rush returns in a powerhouse remix package that bridges classic house with the energy of todays underground scene. One of house music's true originators, Todd Terry was first discovered by pioneering New York house imprint Fourth Floor Records. Along with Mike Delgado, Todd was instrumental not only in establishing the label's early catalogue but in the future of two of his friends on the label who became a household name: Masters At Work. In fact, it was Todd that gave 'Little' Louie Vega and Kenny 'Dope' Gonzalez the moniker, having used it himself to release productions like these two tracks 'Alright Alright' and 'Dum Dum Cry'. Both records, originally released in 1987, exhibit Terry's musical roots, combining hip-hop breakbeats, powerful electro-funk and playful freestyle melodies in his inimitable style.
