When Luciano and Charles Webster exchanged musical works for reinterpretation, each was invited into the world of the other. We are delighted to present Charles' remix of Luciano's 'The Golden Thread', a rework that merges minimalistic beats, soft tribal rhythms and melodic soundscapes. Patience is rewarded throughout a gently measured musical flow, as warm kicks are sprinkled with delicate percussion. Long synth notes stretch into shimmering symphonies, bursting with emotion as delicate keys dance beneath the blissful ambience, ever growing as the song is sung. Charles Webster responds to the spirit of the original with a thoughtful and detailed expression of his own, bringing together two great minds, deeply connected through the origins of electronic music. Reflective, tender and blooming with expression.
