Dubruvvas return with their second release on Transparent Audio this year, this time set to take the drum & bass and dubstep scene by storm with two outstanding tracks showcasing the full force of their production. 'Notions' opens the release with a stripped-back, minimal approach, built around rolling drums, weighty sub-bass and intricate sound design. Dubruvvas keep the arrangement tight and purposeful, allowing each element to hit with maximum impact while maintaining the groove and movement expected from a proper dancefloor roller. On the flip, 'Mic Man' brings longtime collaborators Limmz & Kaisan T to the forefront for a full-blown dubstep and grime workout. The two MCs lock into the track with effortless chemistry, trading bars over a grime-infused rhythm and creating an iconic flow that drives the track from start to finish. As with every release, Dubruvvas continue to push their production and style forward, refining their sound and raising the bar with each new record. 'Notions' / 'Mic Man' captures that progression perfectly, moving between minimal drum & bass and heavyweight dubstep while bringing together Dubruvvas' evolving production style with the raw energy of two distinctive UK MCs.
