LOST198 sees versatile Danish producer Jens Jakob return to EL-EL for the first time since remixing Qoob's My Heroes (under his Nordic Echoes moniker), delivering the sublime On A Rainy Day - our first release of 2026, as we edge ever closer to LOST200 / the end of the world. Premiered in China back in August of 2025 alongside 25 years worth of LL faves, On A Rainy Day immediately felt like a classic - a dreamy, wistful trancer with a breakdown that draws as much on early-90s shoegaze as it does late-90s courtyard-esque trance. Fresh from his Uno / Aether double A-side on Borderline Records, Jon Mangan makes his Lost Language label debut AND delivers his first-ever remix, reframing the original with a tougher, bouncier backbone, and an old-school Signum-inspired groove. In another label first, Nottingham-based Gamble + Jones deliver a progressive rework that reshapes the track, leaning hard into the guitars - bringing decades of studio experience, and a rich heritage of underground credibility to the party. Rounding out the release is 1999, a second original from Jens Jakob - deep, pensive, and firmly rooted in the late-90s tech-trance continuum. EL-EL 26
