The second single from Fred Everythings album Love, Care, Kindness & Hope features UK singer/songwriter James Alexander Bright. The original connection came from a Groove Armada song that Fred remixed (Talk Talk) which featured James on vocals. James is known for his work on K7! and more recently with a new album On Athens Of The North. Breathe was built around a shuffly broken beat, a driving bass line and deep chords. The track also features Wayne Tennant on back vocals and Pete Whitfield on Strings. The original was championed by Colleen Cosmo Murphy on her Balearic Breakfast show as well as supported by Black Coffee, Jazzanova, Peter Kruder, Rainer Trueby. We start with 2 new unreleased versions based on the original. The Lazy Extended Vox, a longer more stripped down version of the original for the dance floor and the obligatory Lazy Dub. On remix duty, we brought in our good friend Rocco Rodamaal. He made the track shines with his trademark straight-to-the-point groove, taking the track in a new territory with none less than 5 mixes! On top of running his own Memories label out of Lyon, hes been busy with original music for Laurent Garniers QR label as well as new remixes for Louie Vega coming soon.
