Chicago house legend Gene Farris makes his debut on Strangelove with ‘Bag Lady’, a bass-heavy club belter that brings plenty of attitude. Gene needs little introduction, he’s three decades deep in the house game and released across heavyweight labels including Relief, Defected, DIRTYBIRD and Toolroom, while his own Farris Wheel Recordings has become a home for his love of bass-driven club music. With Gene also stepping up on vocals and bringing his own original lyrics to the record, you know this is going to carry some serious Farris energy.
