Music For Freaks welcomes back Manchester's FLETCH for his 2nd EP release on the label, following the success of his Flexin EP back in 2023. A producer/DJ whose ascent has been anything but quiet, with major support coming from the likes of Jamie Jones, ANOTR, The Martinez Brothers and many more and yet whose focus still remains firmly rooted in the underground house scene, this ethos is echoed in his own words, 'this EP was made 100\%\% with MFF in mind. I really wanted to try and capture as much as possible of the legendary Freaks sound.' Resident Advisor neatly frames FLETCH as 'the modern version of an underground house DJ', with ties to key labels such as CircoLoco and No Art and his tracks landing across dancefloors worldwide and hitting the no 1 spot on Beatport. What we love about FLETCH is that he always brings his DJ instincts into the arrangements and everything serves the mix, plus he has real musicality. Lead track on the EP, All Night, featuring the sublime vocals of Kendra Cash, hits that sweet spot between house and minimal house, with a strong nod to 90s style drum programming and deep, late-night pressure rather than big-room theatrics. Adding extra weight to the package is a remix and dub from Tuccillo, someone we've wanted on MFF for a very long time, along with the flipside from FLETCH, OD in Space, which we agree, screams pure Music For Freaks!
