Ladislav Zensor revives his moniker, Exhausted Modern, on a new EP. While maintaining his traditionally contemplative and dark sound, he enriches it with new elements he has explored in recent years through his second project, Oblaka. This pushes his work into a gray zone, though it fundamentally draws from classic dance music genres and techniques/elements that have a certain retro charm but also inherent limitations. Across the five tracks, he navigates between broken beats and electro, all wrapped in a contemporary layer.
