Introducing their emotionally-charged, driving sound to the label, Cologne-based duo Vemativ and fellow German producer Danito join forces to make their Purified Records debut with the 'Told You So' EP. Formed in 2019, Vemativ have developed a distinctive sound shaped by years of collaboration, blending driving rhythms with atmospheric and emotionally resonant elements. Paired with Danito's longstanding presence in the European club scene, the EP reflects a meeting point between depth, groove and refined atmospheric soundscape energy. Across thee release, the title track features poignant vocals, while 'Make You Mine' enters a groove driven realm, displaying their diverse sound palette. The artwork reflects the EP's sense of warmth and clarity, displaying an idyllic beach scene captured by Raja Ampat-based artist and marine conservationist Sandra Pesonen (@iamsandyra). A sunlit, fluid space that mirrors its melodic flow and emotional ease. Raja Ampat Research and Conservation Centre (@rarcc) works to protect the region's extraordinary marine biodiversity through scientific research, ecosystem monitoring, and community-led conservation initiatives. Its efforts support sustainable practices that help safeguard coral reefs, fish populations, and the wider ocean environment. Since 2021, Sandra has led coral nursery and restoration projects focused on growing, monitoring, and replanting reefs, while inviting visitors to actively participate through workshops, snorkeling, and diving experiences. Grounded in the belief that travel can give back, her work combines education and hands-on care to protect marine biodiversity and inspire deeper connections with the ocean.
