Colombian producers Cristian Glitch and Paul Basshell join forces for their Cause Records debut, presenting two tracks built around hypnotic tension, restrained power and meticulous production. The title track, Hard Resistance, explores the more introspective side of modern hard techno. Forceful drums and a tightly controlled arrangement maintain constant pressure, while its hypnotic structure draws the listener deeper into the track. Rather than relying on sudden peaks, it develops through repetition, subtle movement and sustained momentum. The Gentle continues within this hypnotic territory while introducing a more industrial character. Stripped-back elements, raw textures and precise rhythmic construction create a darker, more mechanical atmosphere without sacrificing energy. Active since 2009, Cristian Glitch has built an established international profile through his productions, live performances and Parallel Thoughts Records. Paul Basshell brings a contemporary perspective shaped by hard, acid, industrial and raw techno, with releases across several respected labels and a growing presence in the international circuit. Together, they deliver a focused two-track release in which intensity comes not from excess, but from tension, depth and control.
