CONTRA - Big Skank / Six Four (DDD183) Following the runaway success of his debut DDD two-tracker last year, resident dubstep slapper CONTRA is back on DDD with a vengeance, delivering another double helping of bass badness: Big Skank / Six Four. Where Shantique / Double exercised musicality, left-field wonk and world-music flavours, these two tunes are all about sub punishment, synth savagery and pure dancefloor energy. We're not sure there's a skank big enough to do Big Skank justice, and with Six Four it's humanly impossible not to pull the biggest stink face as its drop knocks you senseless.
