Clima returns to the Appendix.catalogue, following 2025s Transient State EP with Healing Patterns, their first full-length release for the label. Written between 2025 and 2026, the album takes the discernible dialect of Transient State and crystallizes it into a language that is distinctly their own. On these seven tracks; Clima, using palatial pads, slow decaying echo and bodily low-end, creates the space for themself to reminisce over club ambience those suspended hours spent listening alongside others while motifs phasing in and out of focus. Like Clima's other works theres a vast sense of space to Healing Patterns; long compositions allow you to drift while intricate details capture your focus. The first track Weight fades in with a gradual dub-heavy pressure, establishing the albums physical center of gravity, while Transmute flecked with ASMR-like vocal glitter, plunges into valleys of synth-atmosphere. Flipping the disc, Aperture provides tight, rhythmic clusters and more energetic phrasing before Clarity takes that energy and deconstructs it, dissipating tension across space. The album's title refers to the repetition inherent in both music and recovery: patterns forming, breaking, and reforming. Created during a period when chronic illness severely limited the artist's ability to explore the outside world, Healing Patterns is an album about finding movement in restriction. It serves as a sonic exploration of limitation (the namesake of the closing track), trying to find beauty in what remains after so much has been stripped away.
