Three years after dropping Rapido Superstudio on Hell Yeah, Caramel 3000 has slowed things down even further for his new eight-track LP, Super Tempra. This playful work gets stranger but even more inviting than ever with his signature OB-6 synth and the Eurorack modular, oodles of springy reverb, delayed balafon and scattered spoken-words.\n\nCaramel 3000 splits his time between the muddy waters of the Barene, south of the Venice Lagoon, and the dim light of a studio in Anderlecht. When not cruising in his sun-bleached wooden boat, he cherishes in the little light that reaches him at his shelter in Anderlecht. \n\nSuper Tempra is a fantastical collage that dissolves the boundaries between devotion and daydream with syrupy choir voices and fragments of Nancy Fraser lectures drifting in and out like the plot of a half-remembered hallucination. Quotes from legendary Italian singer Ornella Vanoni, children's percussion and mystic melodies are looped and modulated into slow-burning psych-outs.

Hell Yeah's Buena Onda returns with another postcard from the Adriatic that is shaped around label head Marco Gallerani's August residency at Kai Beach Bar on Italy's east coast. This time the journey follows the whole afternoon, from that first post-nap stretch into sunset and, eventually, subtly, on into proper beach-party territory. This is another lovely Adriatic trip from Hell Yeah, packed with musical heat and colourful curveballs.
