LA native axxa* makes his Black Book Records debut with ‘beer dreams / hype93’, a two-track release bringing his slick, 90s rap-inspired swagger to the label. Following the momentum of his bouncy, hip-hop-influenced summer cut ‘No Bammer’, which earned strong support from Chris Lake, Max Styler, Tini Gessler, Joy Anonymous and Channel Tres, axxa* continues to carve out a sound that blends nostalgic influences with a fresh, contemporary edge. Across the two tracks, he delivers another confident addition to the Black Book catalogue from an artist with plenty more to come.
