Just in time for the festival season we have the second EP of Atlas on Navigare Audio where he continues to further cultivate his distinctive transcendental progressive technoid sound – suitable for the bigger sound systems. Each track unfolding like a ritual in motion—dense, yet strangely lucid and atmospheric. To complete the journey, weve invited our good friend and label family member Solarythm to bring his unique vision of the title track Gaian Dreams. Here he delivers a remix that expands the original into new interesting territory.
Our latest release comes from Atlas, one of our most exciting recent discoveries at JOOF Recordings. Vince returns with a groundbreaking three-track EP featuring Disperse, Gravitate, and Nebula — each a cosmic journey in its own right. While staying true to his signature style, Atlas ventures into deeper territory, seamlessly blending it with his unmistakable psychedelic essence. Hypnotic atmospheres, otherworldly soundscapes, and a relentless groove bring these tracks to life, making this EP a must-have for any Trance enthusiast.
Introducing the "Aeon EP" by Atlas, a mesmerising fusion of hypnotic trance and techno, sprinkled with a touch of psychedelic vibes. Released on JOOF Recordings, this EP showcases the unique soundscapes crafted by Vincent Vetter, an established DJ and producer within the German Psychedelic scene. Featuring four distinct tracks, each offering a captivating journey into Atlas' sonic universe, "Aeon EP" is a testament to his versatility and innovation. From pulsating rhythms to ethereal melodies, Atlas seamlessly blends elements of trance and techno, creating a dynamic and immersive listening experience that transcends boundaries. Dive deep into the hypnotic realms of trance and techno, and let the psychedelic vibes transport you to new dimensions of sound.
Atlas (/ˈætləs/; Greek: Ἄτλας", Átlas) – an Olympic God, and a descendent of the Titans, condemned to hold up the heavens for eternity. A philosopher, mathematician and astronomer, and inventor of the first celestial sphere. Atlas (/ˈætləs/; Greek: Ἄτλας", Átlas) – a collection of maps, or a description of the creation and form of the whole universe. Whatever Atlas you refer to, you'd refer to something infinitely vast and etheric. And this is how we'd define the sound of Bayern based Vincent Vetter. Although having been an established DJ and producer within the German Psychedelic scene for a decade, we at Navigare HQ feel honored to launch his tranced-out Techno project Atlas to a wider global audience. We released his debut single "Alpha" on the Navigēra compilation earlier this year, a crunchy and highly versatile dancefloor bomb, that could be played at any hour of a party, and encouraged Vincent to keep on sending us new material. His debut EP is an impressive work of art, following the sonic pathway of "Alpha". Through crystal-clear production, a massive rhythmic section and a progressive and highly musical kind of storytelling, Atlas has found a niche, balancing expressiveness with subtleness elegantly. Music not afraid of taking up space, for people not afraid of expressing their beings through dance. And yes, being aging Swedish acid heads, we at Navigare Audio can't help but feeling nostalgic and proud to feel the celestial spirit of early Spiral Trax and Digital Structures being revived, 20-25 years later, from a land far, far away. To balance things up, to add a bit of yang to the yin, we invited brother Ness to revision "Tao". And although we've already released a whole bunch of bangers from him, this one could possibly be his best to date. Distinctively Ness, yet with a load of new ideas, this one is, in short, a psychedelic butcher. We're in awe, and we suspect this will make many jaws drop in 2024.
