The Count of Monte Cristo Chronichles is a dub techno journey inspired by Alexandre Dumas book, transforming the novel's themes of betrayal, imprisonment, redemption, and revenge into hypnotic and profound soundscapes. Each track represents a chapter of Edmond Dantès' inner and outer journey, interpreted through deep, immersive dub techno textures. Producers from different parts of the world contribute to this work, united by a shared vision and a common sensitivity to dub techno vibrations. This release stands as the largest dub techno project ever created and represents the manifesto of the artists belonging to the New Wave Dub Techno Movement, pushing the genre toward new expressive and conceptual horizons. The project was conceived from an idea by Francesco Tamburrano and realized in collaboration with Dub Waves, whose constant attention to visionary projects with an international scope made this ambitious work possible. The result is an intense and cinematic journey, where heavy basslines, spacious echoes, and evolving atmospheres guide the listener through themes of isolation, transformation, and ultimate liberation, echoing the timeless power of Dumas' masterpiece.
