Belgian DJ and producer Ocsav returns to PETS Recordings with the two-track 'Chucky's Mess' EP, featuring collaborations with French producers Triptyque and Jared. Active since 2014, Ocsav, aka Vasco Henrotin, has developed a sound that moves fluidly through house, tech house, UK garage, and breakbeat, balancing tight rhythmic structures with playful, club-focused energy. His productions have appeared on labels including Black Book Records, CUFF, and Animal Language, not to mention his 'Purr Pressure' EP on STEP in November last year. Alongside strong support from artists such as Fatboy Slim, Duke Dumont, Eats Everything, Amine Edge, and Gorgon City, he is also the co-founder of Club Danswich and has performed at festivals and venues including Tomorrowland and Amsterdam Dance Event. The 'Chucky's Mess' EP opens with 'Chucky Larms', a rolling tech-house cut built around weighty low-end grooves and sharp, percussive drum programming before warped synth stabs gradually emerge through the mix. Produced alongside Triptyque, the track layers playful vocal snippets, police sirens, and distorted textures into a tightly wound club framework, balancing tension with a mischievous sense of character. 'Mess is More' moves into a warmer and more melodic space, maintaining the EP's driving pulse while introducing sweeping strings, airy pads, and soulful female vocals. In collaboration with Jared, the track leans into a more emotional, atmospheric direction, allowing textured melodies and subtle rhythmic details to unfold steadily throughout its runtime. Joining Ocsav on the release is Triptyque, a French DJ and producer known for deep, groove-led Tech House shaped by trippy acid basslines and crunchy percussion. With releases on labels such as Snatch!, CUFF, and W&O Street Tracks, his sound has gained support from Jamie Jones, Riva Starr, Todd Terry, and Amine Edge & DANCE. Jared, also from France, brings a warmer, more melodic approach shaped by years spent immersed in underground club culture, from Bordeaux's scene to festivals and apres-ski parties across Europe. Influenced by artists such as Joris Voorn, The Martinez Brothers, and Thomas Bangalter, his productions blend house-driven rhythms with atmospheric textures and emotive detail, and his releases on labels like Hedzup and Whoyostro have climbed to the top of the Beatport Deep House charts.
