Speaking on the release, Dispatch founder Ant TC1 said: 'I find it hard for amen tunes to interest me as much as they did way back when as I (for the most part) feel I've heard it all done in a simple rolling fashion since the early 90s but some artists are just so good at taking the break for a fresh new spin all together. It's a contrasting back to the roots release we have here with Section's lead side of the release being such a hard hitter for me, it's the lashy push and EQ of the amen in combination with the stabs which are just brutal from the drop on. The flip with Surface is an eerie choppage masterpiece. Both tracks with that rugged old school feel, that analogue pushed vibe and both put together for those that love to seek out spaces within a dark low ceiling venue well into the late hours.'
