'Fado' is an imaginary world that connects the tradition of a historical past to a story that continues to be written. Fado is the bridge between past and present, between a music that is an intangible cultural heritage of humanity and a completely distinct approach. \nAnalog and electronic merge, as if symbolizing a nation that respects and promotes its cultural heritage without losing the capacity to create and innovate. Two songs are presented with fado as the predominant element.\n\nThis EP 'Fado' features two original works, presenting a unique fusion between Fado and Melodic Techno:\n\nNADA TE PERTURBE\n'NADA TE PERTURBE' is an original and unique interpretation of a poem by Saint Teresa of Avila, the first woman declared Doctor of the Church, written about 500 years ago that through the centuries continues to teach us the essential: God alone suffices.\nThe emotional and powerful voice of fado singer Marta Alves, combined with the virtuosity of Rui Poco on the Portuguese guitar, unite in full harmony and synergy with the melodic techno sounds of Padre Guilherme and Diego Miranda, once again exploring together a differentiated electronic landscape.\n'Nada Te Perturbe' is an invitation to inner peace and unshakeable trust in God. In times of war, starting everywhere and never ending, with human lives sacrificed for the most varied interests, with all the instability that quickly reaches us all, there is less and less patience, and we end up getting irritated by everything and everyone.\nSaint Teresa speaks of a mature faith that trusts entirely in the love of God, which is disturbed by nothing. This mature and trusting faith is neither amazed nor scandalized. A faith that knows that here on earth everything passes, everything changes, and everything can deceive and delude us. But above all, it knows that God is always the same, never changes.\nIt is in this process that patience enters, achieving everything, that patience which knows that God is in control. Often we do not understand everything that happens, but God, in His rhythm and not ours, as strange as it may seem, will fix everything.\nFrom this song comes our certainty: God alone suffices. Therefore, let yourself be loved by God, give Him your whole life, love Him with all your strength. Believe, nothing will disturb you!\n\n30 MOEDAS DE PRATA\nThis poem authored by Padre Guilherme, '30 MOEDAS DE PRATA', presents a profound humanist and Christian reflection, contrasting the growing disillusionment of modern society with the hope in the 'Cross of Our Lord Jesus'.\nThe unique fusion of fado with melodic techno is yet another full integration of traditional Portuguese sound with the impact and vibration of current melodic techno, joining once again fado singer Marta Alves, Rui Poco on vocals and Portuguese guitar, and Padre Guilherme and Diego Miranda in all the vibrant harmony of electronic sounds.\n'30 MOEDAS DE PRATA' evokes the value for which Judas Iscariot sold his friend Jesus. In an increasingly capitalist society, seduced by the temptation of money, fame, and power, it is important to remember the things money cannot buy, such as friendship, love, human dignity, family, and peace.\nThe 'folly of the Cross' refers to the biblical passage of Saint Paul (1 Corinthians 1, 18) which gives us the certainty that the Christian message of sacrifice and humility may seem like folly, but it is precisely this folly of Love that makes it possible to fulfill the dream of a better world for everyone, everyone, everyone.\n
