Finally returning to Credits Records for a standalone release is label OG Paddy (AU) with his two-track EP, Surge. This marks a subtle but deliberate sonic pivot, and a deeper look at a side of Paddy's talent we have not fully heard before. Over the past five years, Paddy has built a serious reputation within the Australian dance scene as a world-class producer and DJ. While his earlier work sat comfortably in the deep house and minimal lane, Surge sees him branching into a more raw and expansive expression of his production ability. Synth-led, dreamy and breaky, sitting somewhere between electronica and club functionality. A fantastic EP!
