Mood Child continues its exploration of distinctive sounds with Disco Moods, a six-track album channeling the infectious energy, funk and timeless appeal of Disco. Built around rolling grooves, playful vocal touches, rich basslines and irresistible rhythmic elements, the release moves through different shades of the genre while maintaining a strong dancefloor focus throughout. Disco Moods welcomes back familiar Mood Child artists Drumcapelli and OldChild, alongside a new wave of talent making their debut on the label: Alpha, Yaya Alen, Skygroover, Elias R and Angel Mnez. Across six individual cuts, the album brings together classic Disco influences and contemporary club production, with each artist offering their own interpretation of the mood. From funk-driven rhythms and warm melodic touches to chunky low-end and playful grooves, Disco Moods celebrates the many sides of Disco through a distinctly modern lens. Another chapter in Mood Childs ongoing one album, one mood concept, Disco Moods is a vibrant journey through groove, movement and feel-good dancefloor energy.
