Following a run of critically acclaimed LPs for the label, the album sees NC-17 refining his sound further than ever before: less clutter, more weight, more atmosphere and a deeper focus on groove, movement and emotional impact. Heavily influenced by cinema both sonically and conceptually, No One Lives Forever plays like a series of noir-infused scenes unfolding across rolling subs, hypnotic percussion, razor-sharp drum programming and moments of widescreen intensity.
