Following the critical acclaim of his album Typography, N-Type returns with a bold new direction for 2026. His single 'Hotplate' marks the first in a series of high-impact club releases on Wheel & Deal Records (his own imprint), signalling a shift toward harder, festival-ready sounds. Released in November 2025, 'Typography' was widely heralded as a masterclass in collaboration and genre fusion, seamlessly blending elements of dubstep, grime, UK garage, jungle, rap, and drill. The album traced a journey through N-Type's musical roots to his present-day influences, earning support across the electronic spectrum. Tastemakers including Scott Garcia (Kiss 100), Laurent Garnier, and Jay Cunning (Centerforce) championed the release, while Sherelle spotlighted N-Type on BBC Radio 6 Music and featured him in her Sweatbox series mix.
'Nu Era Dub' became one of the soundtracks of Outlook Festival in 2019 and was supported by the likes of Mala, Coki, Caspa, Sukh Knight, Cimm, Sicaria Sound, Enada, Muhla & Minty, Ila Brugal and Sepia (to name a few). After it's release, Kromestar and N-Type decided to jump back in the Studio to make a V.I.P version just for them to play. They eventually released a limited run of 50 lathe cut Dubplate's in 2021, now in the end of 2023 the pair have decided to release 'Nu Era Dub V.I.P' and 'Who Dat Jazz' on all streaming and digital stores for more to enjoy.
